तुर्याष्टगस्य तु स्वर्गा गुणकाः परिकीर्तिताः
For the fourth and eighth, the multipliers are declared as those of heaven.
शेषेर्ऽकादिहते भक्ते मासाद्यैक्येन नारद
When the remainder is divided by the product of the Sun and others, the months and so on are obtained in unity, O Nārada.
दशेशमित्रस्वोच्चक्षङ्गोब्जोब्ध्येकाद्रिवृद्धिगः
The period increases by the number of years, months, and so on, according to the lord, friend, exaltation, own sign, Moon, year, and mountain.
प्रोक्तेतरस्थानगतस्तत्तद्भावक्षयं करः
If the planet is situated in another place as described, it causes the destruction of the corresponding result.
जीविकादिफलं सर्वं दशायां तस्य योजयेत्
All results related to livelihood and so on should be applied during its period.
शुभमत्रेक्षितश्चेष्टसद्वर्गस्थश्च यो ग्रहः
If a planet is aspected by benefics, moving, and situated in a good group,
यस्याष्टवर्गजं चापि फलं पूर्णशुभं भवेत्
One whose result arises from the eighth group attains a complete and auspicious outcome.
स्वत्रिकोणसुहृद्भस्थस्तस्य मध्यमसत्फलम्
If it is situated in its own trine or with a friend, the result is moderate and not excellent.
नेष्टमुत्कटमिष्टं तु स्वल्पं ज्ञात्वा बलं वदेत्
If it is in an unfavorable or harsh place, or in a desirable place but weak, knowing this, one should declare the result as slight.
स्थिरे नेष्टष्टमध्या च होरायास्त्र्यं शकैः फलम्
In a fixed sign, the result is unfavorable in the eighth and middle places; the result of the hour is threefold according to the divisions.
विनाश दृष्टयुक्ता च पापान्तरगतान्यथा
If joined with destructive aspects, or if found among malefics, the result is otherwise.
वक्रात्स्वादिवसाञ्चार्के शुक्राद्यूनां तु षड्रतः
From retrograde, own, exalted, or solar positions, for Venus and others, the result is sixfold.
पृध्यन्त्यधीतपाः सुज्ञा ततोवृद्ध्यन्त्यबन्धुराः
Those who are in the end, learned, or wise, from there increase or become connected with relatives.
स्वदूवृध्यस्तादिषु पृधात्ससाष्टौ पञ्चयोपगः
From own, exalted, or similar positions, if joined with the eighth or fifth, the result is as described.
केन्द्राष्टायान्त्य इज्याद्वा ज्ञज्यायास्तत्र स्वे कवेः
From the center, eighth, or end, or from the worshipped, the result is as per the planet's own measure.
केन्द्राष्टापार्थगः स्वर्क्षान्मन्दाद्गोष्टायकेन्द्रगः
One who is in the center, eighth, or apart from these, in own sign, or with Saturn, or in the center with a group.
कर्मायव्ययषष्टस्थो जीवाद्भौमः शुभः स्मृतः
If situated in karma, ayana, or the sixth, Mars with Jupiter is considered auspicious.

गोब्धिधीषट्खखाद्या ये ज्ञात्सद्यूने विलग्नतः
Those who are in the Moon, Jupiter, sixth, or twelfth, should be known as immediately weak from the ascendant.
स्वात्सज्ञेषु त्रिधीगोब्धी दिक्छिद्रासिगतोर्कजात्
In own, conjunction, or triple Jupiter, in the direction, hole, or sword, if Mars is situated.
ज्ञाब्धित्र्यायारिगोरात्रिषट्ध्यध्यान्त्यगोषु च
In Jupiter, Moon, third, sixth, or eighth, or at the end, if situated among these.
केन्द्रायाष्टधनेष्वर्का लग्नाद्वृद्ध्याद्यबन्धुषु

षडष्टान्त्यगतः शुक्राद्गुरीर्द्वीशान्त्यशत्रुषु

In Mars, agriculture, lotus, prosperity, in its own portion, Mars, metals, juices, and boldness.
शौक्रे रजतगोरत्नैर्मान्दे हिंसश्रमाधमैः
In Venus, silver, cows, gems; in Saturn, violence, toil, and inferiority.
