सूर्यस्तद्दृष्टिगो वापि ज्ञेयो ज्योतिर्विदां वरैः
If the Sun is in that position or aspecting, it should be known as such by the foremost among astrologers.

If the Moon is aspected by malefics, or is in the sign of Yama, or if the ascendant is afflicted, there is loss or destruction of the body.
मन्दे जन्मगते लग्ने बुधसूर्येन्दुवीक्षिते
When the ascendant is in a weak sign at birth, but is aspected by Mercury, the Sun, or the Moon, the person will have moderate fortune.
श्मशाने लग्नदृगसृग्राम्यस्थानेब्जभार्गवौ
If the ascendant or its lord is in the twelfth house, or in places associated with the dead, and Venus or Mars is there, the person is connected to such places.
शिल्पालये बुधो जन्म कुर्याद्बलसमन्वितः
If Mercury is in the house of crafts at birth, and is strong, the person will be skilled in arts and crafts.
त्रिकोणगज आरार्क्योरस्ते वा सृज्यते ऽम्बया
If the ascendant is in a trine or quadrangle, or with Jupiter or the Sun, or is aspected by the Moon, the person is born fortunate.
पापदृष्टे विधौलग्ने ऽस्तेकुजे तु विनश्यति

वृषे पश्चान्मृगे सिंहे दक्षिणे वसतिर्भवेत्

पर्थङ्के वास्तुवत्पादास्रिषदङ्कान्त्यराशयः
