वीरान्सगीश्चदष्टेध्वष्टार्कातभसंहिताः
If the valiant ones, along with their lords, are aspected by malefics, and the Sun is eclipsed, then they are said to be destroyed.
पर्गुर्मीने यमेद्वारैर्दष्टेथाङ्गेभघसंधिगे
If Jupiter is in Pisces, or aspected by the lords of Yama's gates, or joined with malefics at the junction of limbs, then such is the result.
धीनयोदपगैस्त्र्यंशैः पापास्तैरसिरोह्रदाः
If the weak ones are joined by malefics in the third part, then those planets are said to be the givers of death by sword or water.
व्ययेजो वामनयनं दक्षं सूर्यो विनाशयेत्
If the Moon is in the twelfth house, with a squint eye, and the Sun is in the south, then destruction is indicated.
मन्दे ऽस्ते मन्दभांशेङ्गे निषैकेब्दत्रये जनिः
If Saturn is in the setting, in a weak portion, or in the sign of birth, then birth occurs in the third year.
द्वादशाब्दे शशिन्येवं सुतावपि विचिन्तयेत्

अब्धाङ्गमन्भगः पूर्णे ज्यो वा पश्यति नारद
If the Moon is full and aspected by benefics, O Nārada, the person will have a pleasing appearance.
पापदृष्टे यमे गुद्यां जन्माङ्गाजव्ययस्थिते
If the Moon is aspected by malefics, or is in the sign of Yama, or if the ascendant is afflicted, there is loss or destruction of the body.
मन्दे जन्मगते लग्ने बुधसूर्येन्दुवीक्षिते
When the ascendant is in a weak sign at birth, but is aspected by Mercury, the Sun, or the Moon, the person will have moderate fortune.
श्मशाने लग्नदृगसृग्राम्यस्थानेब्जभार्गवौ
If the ascendant or its lord is in the twelfth house, or in places associated with the dead, and Venus or Mars is there, the person is connected to such places.
शिल्पालये बुधो जन्म कुर्याद्बलसमन्वितः
If Mercury is in the house of crafts at birth, and is strong, the person will be skilled in arts and crafts.
त्रिकोणगज आरार्क्योरस्ते वा सृज्यते ऽम्बया
If the ascendant is in a trine or quadrangle, or with Jupiter or the Sun, or is aspected by the Moon, the person is born fortunate.
पापदृष्टे विधौलग्ने ऽस्तेकुजे तु विनश्यति
If the ascendant is aspected by malefics, or is in the twelfth house, or with Ketu, the person will perish.
पापेद्यतायुर्भवति मासः सार्थैः परैरपि

If the house is old or destroyed, and Saturn is in the ascendant, the person is born in a ruined or burnt house, or not at all.
चित्रयुक्तं नवं शुक्रे दृढे रम्ये गुरौ गृहम्
If Venus is strong and in a beautiful place, or Jupiter is in a pleasant house, the person is born in a new and decorated house.
वृषे पश्चान्मृगे सिंहे दक्षिणे वसतिर्भवेत्
If the ascendant is in Taurus, Capricorn, Leo, or the southern direction, the residence will be in those places.
पर्थङ्के वास्तुवत्पादास्रिषदङ्कान्त्यराशयः
If the ascendant is in Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Pisces, the house will be situated at the end or edge of those signs.
