तत्संस्वकृताद्धहात्कान्तिच्छायावरदलादिकम्
From the contact with that, the brightness, shadow, and the opening of petals and so on are produced.
लंबाक्षज्ये तयोश्छाये लंबाक्षौ दक्षिमौ सदा
The vertical and horizontal chords of their shadows are always the southern vertical and horizontal chords.
शेषह्यानांशाः सूर्यस्य तद्वाहुज्याथ कोटिजाः
