दधर्त्याद्या स्ववद्भिश्च ससूवेति च धिष्व च
The forms beginning with 'he supports', and those like 'he begets', and also 'place (it)'.
रथीतरी नसताद्या अम्नर्भुवरथो इति
'Charioteer', 'not a charioteer', and those beginning with 'nasat', as well as 'amnarbhuva', 'ratha', and so on.

The group beginning with 'kṣudhā' and others, fifty-two in number, are recited as anudātta.
द्युताद्या अनुदात्तेतो द्वाविंशतिरतो मताः
The group beginning with 'dyutā' and others, twenty-two in number, are likewise considered anudātta.
ततो ज्वलदुदात्तेतो द्विपञ्चाशन्मितास्तथा
After that, the group beginning with 'jvalad', numbering fifty-two, are also marked as udātta.
अनुदात्तेत अख्याता भाद्युतात्ता इतः स्यमात्
Those called anudātta are verbs, while those beginning with 'bhā' and 'dyut' are from here considered udātta.
सदस्रय उदात्तेतः कुचाद्वेदा उदात्त इत्
The group beginning with 'sad' and 'āśraya' are udātta; those beginning with 'kucād' and 'veda' are also udātta.
स्वरितेच्छिञ्भृञाद्याश्चत्वार स्वरितेत्ततः

The single root 'ṣṭuñ' is well known, O Nārada, among grammarians.
इङ्ङात्मनेपदी प्रोक्तो धातुर्नारद केवलः
The root 'iṅ' is declared to be exclusively ātmanepada, O Nārada.
ञिष्वप्शये समुद्दिष्टः परस्मैपदिकस्तथा
The root 'ñiṣ' meaning 'to sleep' is enumerated as parasmaipada as well.
दीधीङ्वेङ्स्मृतौ धातू आत्मनेपदिनौ मुने
O sage, the roots dī, dhī, ve, and hve are considered to be in the ātmanepada according to the tradition.
चर्करीतं च ह्नुङ् प्रोक्तो ऽनुदात्तेन्मुनिसत्तम
The root hnu, when used in the anudātta accent, is said to be carkarīta, O best of sages.
