Listen to this, which will be spoken for liberation.
For those always misguided by falsehood, affliction brings suffering and darkness.
The abandonment of pleasure is austerity; yoga is completed in total renunciation.
For the removal of suffering, such renunciation leads to liberation from misfortune.
Now I shall declare the six, and the five organs of action.
Generation, speech, grasping, movement, and excretion are the organs of action.

When he, freed, abandons pleasure and pain, then, without marks, he attains the highest state.
When merit is exhausted, sin is gone, and the results of bodily causes are destroyed—
Just as a spider, when its threads are spent, remains or departs, turning about—
As a deer leaves behind its old antler, or as a serpent sheds its skin—
As a fish, falling into a pond, is abandoned, or as a bird, with strength, descends—
So too, when he, freed, abandons pleasure and pain, he attains the supreme state, without marks.
Having considered everything, understanding the truth, supremely content, he lived free from sorrow.
Indeed, nothing here burns me at all—so, it is said, the king himself declared.
Having experienced troubles, yet untroubled, he is released, like the king of Mithila upon meeting Kapila.
Again, with affection, the noble-minded one questioned Sanandana.
Tell me that, O sage, to me who have taken refuge, O ocean of compassion.
What is the remedy for birth, old age, and other conditions, which prevail in the womb and elsewhere?
The sole and ultimate remedy is considered to be the attainment of the Blessed Lord.
O great sage, the knowledge of the means to attain Him, and action, have been spoken of.
The supreme knowledge arising from discernment of Brahman is composed of the tradition of the sound-Brahman.
Now, listen to this from me, as I explain it clearly here.
