Having fasted on that day, according to rule, in an auspicious pavilion,
A splendid four-armed image, whether golden or silver,
Then, bathing with the five nectars and with pure water accompanied by mantras,
After completing the offering of water for the feet and other rites ending with the waving of lights, one should pray to Hari.
When you are awakened, both the awakened and all the moving and unmoving worlds are awakened.
A devoted man should observe the disciplines according to his ability.
Then, having honored the guests with sixteen offerings,
From then onward, O best of Brahmins, he should worship daily with fragrance and other items.
A mortal, endowed with both enjoyment and liberation, attains this by the grace of Vishnu.
Having observed the Kāmyā vow with discipline, O best of men,
Then, having honored the Brahmins with sixteen offerings,
Thus, whoever performs the excellent Kāmyā vow for the Brahmins,
On the eleventh day of the bright fortnight, having observed the pure vow,
He attains the abode of Vishnu directly, honored by all the gods.
On the twelfth day, one should worship Upendra with various offerings.
Thus, having performed the vow with devotion and concentration, O Brahmin,
On the eleventh day of the bright fortnight of the month of Nabhas, having observed the vow called Padma,
First, for the image previously established, O best of Brahmins,
Having performed the prescribed worship for the image that has been touched with water,
Then, when the twelfth day arrives, one should worship Vāmana with fragrance and other items.
O Brahmin, thus whoever performs the supreme Padma vow in this manner,
having observed the fast for one day of Krishna Ekadashi, together with Lakshmi,
which brings delight to Vishnu, O Brahmin, then on the morning of the day of Hari,
having given the prescribed gifts, he should dismiss the Brahmins and then partake of food himself.
He uplifts ten million ancestors and at the end attains the abode of Vishnu.
Having properly observed the fast on Vishnu's day, he should worship Vishnu.
With devotion, having bowed, he should dismiss them and then eat himself.
Having enjoyed excellent pleasures here, he attains residence in the same world as Vishnu.
Having properly observed the fast of Rama on the twelfth day, he should worship in the morning.
Then he should feed the Brahmins and dismiss them after giving the received gifts.
