प्रसूनैररुणैस्तद्वत्तथा बन्धूकसंभवैः
In the same way, with reddish flowers, and those arising from the bandhūka tree,
सितरक्तैस्तुमिलितैरायुरारोग्यमाप्नुयात्
With white and red, fully bloomed flowers, one attains long life and health.
तथा गुडूच्या होमेन पायसेन तिलेन च
Likewise, by offering guḍūcī, milk-rice, and sesame in the fire,
हवनाच्छ्रियमाप्नोति यावदन्वयगा भवेत्
Through such a sacrifice, he attains prosperity as long as his lineage endures.
तत्पङ्क मर्द्दितैर्हेमात्कह्लारैर्विकचैः सुमैः
With fully bloomed golden lotuses, their mud pressed out,
निःसपत्नो निरातङ्को निर्द्रन्दो निर्मलाशयः
He becomes without rivals, free from danger, without thorns, and pure in heart.
तथैव करवीरोत्थैः प्रसूनैररुणैः सितैः
Likewise, with reddish and white flowers of the karavīra plant,
तथैव पङ्कजैर्हेमाद्रूपाजीवां वशं नयेत्
And similarly, with golden lotuses, he brings those who sustain him under his control.
लभते ऽनुपमां लक्ष्मीमपि पापिष्ठचेतनः
Even a person of most wicked mind obtains incomparable fortune.
अर्द्धेन्दुकुण्डे नियतं वशगा रिपवो मुने
In a crescent-shaped vessel, O sage, enemies are certainly subdued.
मृत्युबीजैर्निम्बतैलसिक्तैर्हेमान्निहॄन्ति तान्
With seeds of death, anointed with neem oil, he destroys those enemies of gold.
अक्षबीजैस्तु तैलाक्तैर्हेमः सर्वविनाशनः
With black mustard seeds anointed with oil, gold becomes the destroyer of all.
तथैवाक्षतरूद्भूतपञ्चाङ्गहवनादपि
Likewise, by offering the five parts of the black mustard plant in the fire,
तद्दिने स्यादपस्मारी वैरी भवति निश्चितम्
On that day, one afflicted by epilepsy certainly becomes an enemy.
तद्योनिपिशितैस्तैश्च हवनान्मृत्युकृद्रिपोः
By offering flesh from the same source in the fire, one causes the death of an enemy.
जायन्ते वैरिणः कुष्ठरोगा देहविलोपकाः
From this, enemies are afflicted with leprosy and diseases that destroy the body.
दाहज्वरेण ग्रस्तः स्यादरातिस्तद्दिने ध्रुवम्
He will certainly be afflicted with a burning fever on that day, due to enmity.
स्निग्धैः संप्राप्तसद्विद्यैर्जपहोमादि कारयेत्
One should have recitation, oblations, and similar rites performed by affectionate and learned persons who are present.
विद्याभिरन्यथासिद्धमन्त्रमस्याशु नाशयेत्
By means of proper knowledge, one should quickly destroy a mantra that has become ineffective in any other way.
द्वापरे त्रिगुणं प्रोक्तं कलौतत्तु चतुर्गुणम्
In the Dvapara age, it is said to be threefold; but in the Kali age, it is fourfold.
तद्दशांशं मार्जनं स्याद्दशांशं द्विजभोजनम्
One-tenth should be for purification, and one-tenth for feeding the twice-born.
कार्या सिद्ध्यै तु विद्यायास्ततः कुर्यात्प्रयोगकान्
For the accomplishment of the knowledge, one should then perform the prescribed applications.
सिद्धे मन्त्रे प्रयोगांस्तु विदधीत यथा तथा
When the mantra is perfected, one should carry out the applications accordingly.
कर्तव्यो भगमालाया विद्यासिद्ध्यैमुनीश्वर
O sage, for the accomplishment of knowledge, the Bhagamala rite must be performed.
कार्यः सिद्ध्यै तु विद्यायाः प्रयोगान्साधयेत्ततः
For the success of the knowledge, one should then accomplish the applications.
भेरुडामन्त्रमुक्तं तु शेषं कुर्यात्प्रयत्नतः
Whatever remains, as stated in the Bheruḍā mantra, should be performed with care.
अन्यत्सर्वं पुरावच्च कार्य्यं साधकसत्तमैः
All other procedures should be done as before by the best of practitioners.
हवनादि दशांशेन कार्यं प्रोक्तक्रमेण हि
Oblations and the like should be performed with one-tenth, according to the prescribed order.
तद्दशांशक्रमेणैव होमादिः प्रोक्तमार्गतः
In the same sequence of one-tenth, oblations and similar rites are prescribed according to the established method.
कृत्वा होमादिकं सर्वं विद्यासिद्धियैमुनीश्वर
Having performed all oblations and related rites, O sage, for the accomplishment of knowledge—
