मनोरथेषु चान्येषु गच्छेत्तां प्रजपन्मनुम्

विद्यामभीतिं च वरं दधतीं त्रीक्षणाननाम्
She bears knowledge, fearlessness, and a boon, and has a face with three eyes.
पुष्पैर्भानुसहस्राणि जुहुयाद्बह्मवृक्षजैः
One should offer thousands of sun-like flowers from the Brahma tree.
पद्मं वसुदलोपेतं नवयोन्यष्टकर्णिकम्
A lotus endowed with wealth, new, with nine yonis and eight petals.
इच्छा ज्ञाना क्रिया पश्चात्कामिनी कामदायिनी
Will, knowledge, and action come after; the desiring one is the bestower of desires.
वरदाभयधारिण्यः संप्रोक्ता नव शक्तयः
The nine powers are declared to hold the gestures of granting boons and fearlessness.
दीर्घवान्यै परा पश्चादपरायौ हसौ युतः
After Parā, the long-sounding ones, and then the two others, endowed with 'ha' and 'sa'.
