छिन्नं स्वकं स्फआरमुखं स्वरक्तं प्रपिबद्गलत्
Her own severed, wide mouth, drinking her own blood as it flows.
डाकिनीवर्णिनीसख्यौ दृष्ट्वा मोदभराकुलाम्
Seeing her, surrounded by friends named Ḍākinī and Varṇinī, overwhelmed with the joy of intoxication.
पालाशैर्विल्वजैर्वापि जुहुयात्कुसुमैः फलैः
One should offer oblations with palāśa or bilva flowers, or with fruits.
पीठे जयाख्या विजया जिता चापि पराजिता
On the seat are Jayā, Vijaya, Jitā, and also Parājitā.
दिक्षु मध्ये च संपूज्या नव पीठस्य शक्तयः
In the directions and in the center, the nine powers of the seat should be duly worshipped.
सिद्धिप्रदे डाकिनीये तारो वज्रः सभौतिकः
In the Ḍākinī seat that grants success, Tāra is vajra, along with the elementals.
तारादिपीठमन्त्रो ऽयं वेदरामाक्षरो मतः
This mantra, which is the seat of Tara, is regarded as the Rama syllable of the Veda.
त्रिकोणमध्यषट्कोणपद्मभूपुरमध्यतः
From the center of the triangle, within the six-pointed lotus and the fortress of earth.
भूपुरे बाह्यभागेषु वज्रादीनि प्रपूजयेत्
On the outer parts of the fortress, one should worship Vajra and other deities.
भूपुरस्य चतुर्द्वार्षु द्वारपालान्यजेदथ
At the four gates of the fortress, one should then offer worship to the gatekeepers.
महाकालश्चतुर्थः स्यादथ पद्मेष्टशक्तयः
Mahakala is the fourth; then, in the lotus, the desired powers are to be worshipped.
महाभैरवकेन्द्राक्षी त्वसिताङ्गी तु सप्तमी
Mahabhairava is at the center; Asitangī is the seventh.
त्रिकोणगा छिन्नमस्ता पार्श्वयोस्तु सखीद्वयम्
Chinnamasta resides in the triangle; on her sides are her two companions.
एवं पूजादिभिः सिद्धे मन्त्रे मन्त्री मनोरथान्
When the mantra is perfected through such worship and rituals, the practitioner attains his wishes.
श्रीपुष्पैर्लभते लक्ष्मीं तत्फैलश्च समीहितम्
By offering auspicious flowers, one obtains Lakshmi and the desired result.
घृताक्तं छागमांसं यो जुहुयात्प्रत्यहं शतम्
Whoever offers a hundred portions of goat meat smeared with ghee daily.
करवीरसुमैः श्वतैर्लक्षसंख्यैर्जुहोति यः
Whoever makes offerings with karavīra flowers, white ones, in numbers of a hundred thousand.
रक्तौ स्तत्संख्यया हुत्वा वशयेन्मन्त्रिणो नृपान्
By offering red flowers in the same number, the practitioner brings kings under his control.
गोमायुमांसैस्तामेव कवितां पायसांधसा
By offering beef, goat meat, and rice pudding mixed with honey, one attains poetic skill.
तिलतण्डुलहोमेन वशयेन्निखिलाञ्जनान्
By offering sesame and rice, one brings all people under control.
स्तंभनं माहिषैर्मांसैः पङ्कजैः सघृतैरपि
For immobilization, one should offer buffalo meat and lotuses with ghee.
उन्मत्तकाष्ठदीप्ते ऽग्नौ तत्फलं वायसच्छदैः
In a fire kindled with madman’s wood, the desired result is obtained with crow feathers.
विजयं लभते मन्त्री ध्यायन्देवीं जपन्मनुम्
The practitioner attains victory by meditating on the goddess and reciting the mantra.
रक्तां वश्ये मृतौ धूम्रां स्तंभने कनकप्रभाम्
For control, use red; for death, smoky; for immobilization, golden-hued.
गोपनीयः प्रयोगो ऽय प्रोच्यते सर्वसिद्धिदः
This practice, which bestows all accomplishments, is to be kept secret.
स्नात्त्वा रक्ताम्बरधरो रक्तमाल्यानुलेपनः
Having bathed, wearing red garments, adorned with red garlands and unguents,
सुन्दरीं यौवनाक्रान्तां नरपञ्चकगामिनीम्
A beautiful woman, overcome by youth, who is associated with five men,
विवस्त्रां पूजयित्वैनामयुतं प्रजपेन्मनुम्
Having worshipped her unclothed, one should recite the mantra ten thousand times.
भोजयेद्विविधैरन्नैर्ब्राह्मणान्भोजनादिना
He should feed Brahmins with various foods and other acts of hospitality.
नारीमायुः सुखं धर्ममिष्टं च समवाप्नुयात्
He attains a woman, long life, happiness, and the desired virtue.
