The fourth mountain is Droṇa, a great mountain where medicinal herbs grow, including Viśalyakaraṇī and Mṛtasaṃjīvanī.

Mandara is to be known as the auspicious mountain composed of all elements; 'manda' is the element that reveals what is hidden.
Because it splits the waters, it is called Mandara; there, Indra himself guards many gems.
Taking Prajapati, he apportioned to the creatures; among them, the inner support is said to be double.
Thus these seven mountains in Kuśadvīpa have been described; I will now speak of their seven regions, each separately.
Kumuda's region is called Śveta, and Unnata's region is likewise named; Unnata's region is known as Lohita.
Veṇumaṇḍalaka is also so named; Balāhaka's region is Jīmūta, which is said to have its own form.

These, too, are distinguished—seven regions and seven mountains, each separate; learn also of the rivers among them.
There, too, seven rivers are remembered for each region; all are known by two names and all are considered holy waters.
Dhūtapāpā is the name of one river, and Yoni is remembered again; Sītā is known as the second, and she is also called Niśā.

Those rivers flow to where Indra rains; thus the arrangement of Kuśadvīpa has been described for you.
The extent of Śākadvīpa has been declared, which is eternal; Kuśadvīpa is surrounded by the ocean of clarified butter and water.
All around, the great island is encircled like the moon; in breadth and circumference, it is considered twice the size of the milk ocean.
Next, I shall describe Krauñca-dvīpa; its extent is twice that of Kuśa-dvīpa.
The ocean of clarified butter and water surrounds Krauñca-dvīpa, encircling it completely in the shape and measure of a wheel's rim.
In that dvīpa, the foremost mountains are found; Devana is named as a mountain, and beyond Devana is Govinda, another mountain.
Beyond Govinda is Krauñca, the first mountain; beyond Krauñca is Pāvanaka, and beyond Pāvanaka is Andhakāraka.
Beyond Andhakāraka is Devāvṛt, a mountain by name; and beyond Devāvṛt is Puṇḍarīka, the great mountain.
These seven mountains of Krauñca-dvīpa are made of gems; each varṣa-mountain is twice the breadth of the previous.
