मासोपवासी यो दद्याद् धेनुं विप्राय शोभनाम् स वैष्णवं पदं यति भीमव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्
Whoever, after fasting for a month, gives a beautiful cow to a Brāhmaṇa, attains the abode of Viṣṇu—this is known as the Bhīma vow.
दद्याद् विंशत्पलादूर्ध्वं महीं कृत्वा तु काञ्चनीम् दिनं पयोव्रतस्तिष्ठेद् रुद्रलोके महीयते धराव्रतमिदं प्रोक्तं सप्तकल्पशतानुगम्

महाफलानि यस्त्यक्त्वा चतुर्मासं द्विजातये हैमानि कार्त्तिके दद्याद् गोयुगेन समन्वितम् एतत् फलव्रतं नाम विष्णुलोकफलप्रदम्
One who, renouncing great fruits, gives golden fruits with a pair of cows to a Brahmin during the four months in Kārttika attains the fruit of the Phalavrata, which grants the world of Viṣṇu.

One who fasts on the seventh day and at the end gives a golden lotus and cows with golden pots to a Brahmin attains the fruit of the Sauravrata, which grants the world of the Sun.
द्वादश द्वादशीर्यस्तु समाप्योपोषणेन च गोवस्त्रकाञ्चनैर्विप्रान् पूजयेच्छक्तितो नरः परमं पदं प्राप्नोति विष्णुव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्
Whoever completes twelve Dvādaśī fasts and worships Brahmins with cow garments and golden girdles as able attains the supreme abode. This vow is known as Viṣṇuvrata.
कार्त्तिक्यां च वृषोत्सर्गं कृत्वा नक्तं समाचरेत् शैवं पदमवाप्नोति वार्षव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्

At the end of the Kṛcchra vow, one who gives a cow and food to Brahmins as able attains the abode of Śaṃkara. This vow is called Prājāpatyam.

आकाशशायी वर्षासु धेनुमन्ते पयस्विनीम् शक्रलोके वसेन्नित्यम् इन्द्रव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्
One who sleeps under the open sky during the rainy season and at the end gives a milking cow resides eternally in the world of Indra. This vow is known as Indravrata.
अनग्निपक्कम् अश्नाति तृतीयायां तु यो नरः गां दत्त्वा शिवमभ्येति पुनरावृत्तिदुर्लभम् इह चानन्दकृत्पुंसां श्रेयोव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्
Whoever eats food not cooked by fire on the third day and gives a cow attains Śiva and rarely returns again. This vow, called Śreyovrata, brings joy to people here.
हैमं पलद्वयादूर्ध्वं रथमश्वयुगान्वितम् ददत्कृतोपवासः स्याद् दिवि कल्पशतं वसेत् कल्पान्ते राजराजः स्याद् अश्वव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्
One who gives a golden chariot with two plates above, yoked with horses, having observed a fast, dwells in heaven for a hundred aeons; at the end of the aeon, he becomes king of kings. This is known as the horse vow.
तद्वद्धेमरथं दद्यात् करिभ्यां संयुतं नरः सत्यलोके वसेत्कल्पं सहस्रमथ भूपतिः भवेदुपोषितो भूत्वा करिव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्
Likewise, if a man gives a golden chariot yoked with elephants, he dwells in the world of truth for a thousand aeons and becomes a nourished king; this is remembered as the elephant vow.
उपवासं परित्यज्य समान्ते गोप्रदो भवेत् यक्षाधिपत्यमाप्नोति सुखव्रतमिदं स्मृतम्
Abandoning fasting at the end, one who gives a cow becomes lord of the yakshas; this is remembered as the gentle vow.
निशि कृत्वा जले वासं प्रभाते गोप्रदो भवेत् वारुणं लोकमाप्नोति वरुणव्रतमुच्यते
Spending the night in water, then giving a cow in the morning, one attains the realm of Varuna; this is called the Varuna vow.

Having fasted for three nights, one who gives a beautiful house in Phalguna attains the realm of the sun; this is remembered as the abode vow.
त्रिसंध्यं पूज्य दाम्पत्यम् उपवासी विभूषणैः अन्नं गाश्च समाप्नोति मोक्षमिन्द्रव्रतादिह
Worshipping at the three junctions of the day, observing a fast with one's spouse, adorned with ornaments, one attains food and cows, and liberation; this is the Indra vow here.
