Now I shall declare the excellent silver mountain, by the giving of which a man attains the unsurpassed world of Soma.

If unable to make it above twenty, then one should make it according to ability; likewise, the transverse mountains should be made with a fourth part.
As before, making the silver ones, and Mandara and the others according to rule, one should worship the lords of the world with vessels of refined silver.
Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Arka should be made, and the base here of gold; all the rest for the others should be of silver, and all that here of gold.
The rest should be done as before, including the homa and the vigil; then in the morning, one should give the silver mountain to the teacher.
The transverse mountains should be given to the priests, with worship, garments, and ornaments; reciting this mantra, one should give, holding darbha grass, free from envy.
Because you are dear to the ancestors, the lords of the earth, and to Śiva, protect us, O silver one, from the ocean of sorrow and transmigration.
Thus, one who makes this offering of the excellent mountain of silver, after declaring it in this manner, attains the reward of giving ten thousand cows.
In the realm of Soma, the wise person dwells, honored by hosts of Gandharvas, Kinnaras, and Apsaras, until the dissolution of creation.
Now, I shall expound the excellent mountain of sugar; by whose donation, Vishnu, Arka, and Rudra are always pleased.
With eight loads of sugar, the mountain is considered supreme; with four, it is called middling; with two loads, it is regarded as inferior.

One of limited wealth may make a mountain with a half-load or a quarter-load; a person should construct mountains with a fourth portion.
Everything, as with the grain mountain, should be prepared together with nectar; likewise, three golden trees should be placed atop Meru.

Two sandalwood trees, one on the east and one on the west side, should be placed on every mountain, especially on the sugar mountain.
On Mandara, the deity of desire should always face west; on the peak of Gandhamadana, the god of wealth should face north.
On the great mountain, the form of the Veda, the swan, should face east; on the golden side, Surabhi should face south.
As with the grain mountain, all the rites of invocation should be performed; then, one should give the middle mountain to the teacher, and the four mountains to the priests, reciting the mantras.
This mountain, filled with sugar, is the essence of the nectar of fortune; therefore, O lord of mountains, always be the bringer of joy.
Those droplets that fell to earth as the gods drank nectar—arising from them, you, O sugar mountain, protect us.
Because sugar arose from the middle of the bow of the god of love, you are composed of it, O great mountain; protect us from the ocean of worldly existence.
Whoever gives the sugar mountain according to this procedure, that man, freed from all sins, attains the supreme state.

One should provide food according to ability, without envy, on all mountains; everywhere, salt and alkaline substances may be eaten with permission, and all mountain offerings should be given to the abode of Brahmins.

She was the chief queen of that king, more precious than life itself, shining among ten thousand women like Śrī herself.
