Thus, having addressed that cow, one should present it to a Brahmin; this is the prescribed procedure for all such cows.

Of those ten cows that are said to destroy sin, I shall describe their forms and names to you, O king.

Some great sages use fresh butter and gems; this is the procedure, and these are considered the proper implements.
Accompanied by invocation with mantras, they should always be given at each festival, according to one's faith, and they grant the fruits of enjoyment and liberation.
In connection with the jaggery-cow, I have described all of them; all are auspicious, remove sin, and bestow the complete fruit of sacrifice.
Because the Viśoka Dvādaśī vow is the highest among vows, the jaggery-cow is especially praised here as its component.

At the solstice, equinox, during auspicious conjunctions, or again at eclipses and similar festivals, the jaggery-cow and others should be given.
This Viśoka Dvādaśī is auspicious and removes sin; the person who observes it attains the supreme abode of Viṣṇu.

Even a woman who observes the Viśoka Dvādaśī vow, always devoted to dance and song, attains that same fruit.
Therefore, O king, one who desires prosperity should always perform endless singing and instrumental music before Hari, with supreme devotion.

In the Purāṇas, the Vedas, the sacrifices, and the sacred shrines, the fruit attained here is not gained by merely studying or performing them.
Therefore, I will explain the proper procedure for the mountains in order: the first is the Mountain of Grain, the second is the Salt Mountain.
