सुश्वेताय सुवक्त्राय नमः श्वेतशिखाय च श्वेतास्याय महास्याय नमस्ते श्वेतलोहित

To the very white, the beautiful-faced—salutations; to the one with white crest, to the white-faced, the great-faced—salutations to the white and red one.

सुताराय विशिष्टाय नमो दुन्दुभिने हर शतरूपविरूपाय नमः केतुमते सदा

Salutations to you, Hara, who are the excellent rescuer, the drum, the one with a hundred forms and formlessness, and always possessed of the banner.

ऋद्धिशोकविशोकाय पिनाकाय कपर्दिने विपाशाय सुपाशाय नमस्ते पाशनाशिने

To you who are free from prosperity and sorrow, to the wielder of the bow Pinaka, the matted-haired one, the unfettered, the well-binder, and the destroyer of bonds—salutations.

सुहोत्राय हविष्याय सुब्रह्मण्याय सूरिणे सुमुखाय सुवक्त्राय दुर्दमाय दमाय च

Salutations to the excellent sacrificer, the one worthy of offerings, the supremely holy, the wise, the auspicious-faced, the well-featured, the unconquerable, and the subduer.

कङ्काय कङ्करूपाय कङ्कणीकृतपन्नग सनकाय नमस्तुभ्यं सनातन सनन्दन

Salutations to the heron, to the one who takes the form of a heron, to the one who has made serpents into ornaments, to Sanaka, to the eternal, and to Sanandana.

सनत्कुमारसारङ्गम् आरणाय महात्मने लोकाक्षिणे त्रिधामाय नमो विरजसे सदा

Salutations to Sanatkumara, the charioteer, the one who resides in the forest, the great-souled, the observer of the worlds, the one with three abodes, and ever pure.

शङ्खपालाय शङ्खाय रजसे तमसे नमः सारस्वताय मेघाय मेघवाहन ते नमः

Salutations to Shankhapala, to the conch, to the quality of passion, to darkness, to Sarasvata, to the cloud, and to you, the cloud-rider.

सुवाहाय विवाहाय विवादवरदाय च नमः शिवाय रुद्राय प्रधानाय नमोनमः

Salutations to the good vehicle, the arranger of marriages, the bestower of success in disputes, to Shiva, to Rudra, to the chief—again and again, salutations.

त्रिगुणाय नमस्तुभ्यं चतुर्व्यूहात्मने नमः संसाराय नमस्तुभ्यं नमः संसारहेतवे

Salutations to you, who are the three qualities, to the one whose nature is the fourfold emanation; salutations to you, who are the world-process, and to the cause of the world-process.

मोक्षाय मोक्षरूपाय मोक्षकर्त्रे नमोनमः आत्मने ऋषये तुभ्यं स्वामिने विष्णवे नमः

Salutations to liberation, to the form of liberation, to the giver of liberation; to the self, to the seer, to the master, to Vishnu—salutations.

नमो भगवते तुभ्यं नागानां पतये नमः ओङ्काराय नमस्तुभ्यं सर्वज्ञाय नमो नमः

Salutations to you, the blessed one, to the lord of serpents; salutations to you, Oṃkāra, and to the all-knowing—salutations again and again.

सर्वाय च नमस्तुभ्यं नमो नारायणाय च नमो हिरण्यगर्भाय आदिदेवाय ते नमः

Salutations to you, who are all; salutations also to Nārāyaṇa; salutations to Hiraṇyagarbha, to the primeval god—salutations to you.

नमो ऽस्त्वजाय पतये प्रजानां व्यूहहेतवे महादेवाय देवानाम् ईश्वराय नमो नमः

Salutations to the unborn, to the lord, to the cause of the emanation of beings, to the great god of the gods, to the ruler—salutations again and again.

शर्वाय च नमस्तुभ्यं सत्याय शमनाय च ब्रह्मणे चैव भूतानां सर्वज्ञाय नमो नमः

Salutations to Sharva, to the true, to the pacifier, to Brahman, to the beings, to the all-knowing—salutations again and again.

महात्मने नमस्तुभ्यं प्रज्ञारूपाय वै नमः चितये चितिरूपाय स्मृतिरूपाय वै नमः

Salutations to the great-souled, to the one whose form is wisdom; salutations to consciousness, to the one whose form is awareness, and whose form is memory—salutations.

ज्ञानाय ज्ञानगम्याय नमस्ते संविदे सदा शिखराय नमस्तुभ्यं नीलकण्ठाय वै नमः

Salutations to knowledge, to the one attainable by knowledge, to consciousness always; salutations to the peak, to the blue-throated one.

अर्धनारीशरीराय अव्यक्ताय नमोनमः एकादशविभेदाय स्थाणवे ते नमः सदा

Salutations again and again to the one whose body is half-female, to the unmanifest; salutations always to you, the one with eleven forms, the steadfast.

नमः सोमाय सूर्याय भवाय भवहारिणे यशस्कराय देवाय शङ्करायेश्वराय च

Salutations to Soma, to Sūrya, to Bhava, to the remover of existence, to the bestower of fame, to the god, to Shankara, and to Īśvara.

नमो ऽंबिकाधिपतये उमायाः पतये नमः हिरण्यबाहवे तुभ्यं नमस्ते हेमरेतसे

Salutations to the lord of Ambikā, to the husband of Umā; salutations to you, golden-armed one, salutations to you of golden seed.

नीलकेशाय वित्ताय शितिकण्ठाय वै नमः कपर्दिने नमस्तुभ्यं नागाङ्गाभरणाय च

Salutations to the blue-haired, the wealthy, the white-throated, and the matted-haired one; salutations to you, who wears serpents as ornaments.

वृषारूढाय सर्वस्य हर्त्रे कर्त्रे नमोनमः वीररामातिरामाय रामनाथाय ते विभो

Salutations again and again to the one who rides the bull, the destroyer and creator of all; to the supremely heroic, the delight of heroes, the lord of Rama, to you, O mighty one.

नमो राजाधिराजाय राज्ञामधिगताय ते नमः पालाधिपतये पालाशाकृन्तते नमः

Salutations to the king of kings, who is attained by kings; salutations to the lord of protectors, the one who cuts down the branches of protectors.

नमः केयूरभूषाय गोपते ते नमोनमः नमः श्रीकण्ठनाथाय नमो लिकुचपाणये

Salutations to you, adorned with armlets, O lord of cowherds; salutations again and again. Salutations to Śrīkaṇṭhanātha, salutations to the one holding a club.

भुवनेशाय देवाय वेदशास्त्र नमो ऽस्तु ते सारङ्गाय नमस्तुभ्यं राजहंसाय ते नमः

Salutations to you, lord of the world, O god, essence of the Vedas and scriptures; salutations to you, bearer of the bow, salutations to you, royal swan.

कनकाङ्गदहाराय नमः सर्पोपवीतिने सर्पकुण्डलमालाय कटिसूत्रीकृताहिने

Salutations to you, adorned with golden bracelets and necklaces, wearing a serpent as the sacred thread, with a garland of serpent earrings, and a snake as your girdle.

वेदगर्भाय गर्भाय विश्वगर्भाय ते शिव विररामेति संस्तुत्वा ब्रह्मणा सहितो हरिः

Salutations to you, who holds the Vedas within, who is the womb, who is the womb of the universe, O Śiva. Thus praised as 'Virarāma' by Brahmā together with Hari.

एतत्स्तोत्रवरं पुण्यं सर्वपापप्रणाशनम् यः पठेच्छ्रावयेद्वापि ब्राह्मणान् वेदपारगान्

This excellent and holy hymn destroys all sins; whoever recites or causes it to be recited to Brahmins learned in the Vedas—

स याति ब्रह्मणो लोके पापकर्मरतो ऽपि वै तस्माज्जपेत्पठेन्नित्यं श्रावयेद्ब्राह्मणाञ्छुभान्

He attains the world of Brahmā, even if he is engaged in sinful deeds. Therefore, one should always recite, repeat, or have it recited to auspicious Brahmins.

सर्वपापविशुद्ध्यर्थं विष्णुना परिभाषितम्

For the purification from all sins, this was spoken by Viṣṇu.
