शरी शतघ्नी खड्गी च पट्टिशी चायुधी महान् अजश् च मृगरूपश् च तेजस्तेजस्करो विधिः
He is armed with a hundred-bladed missile, a sword, a spear, and many weapons; he is the great one, the unborn, the one with the form of a deer, the radiance that gives radiance, and the creator.
उष्णीषी च सुवक्त्रश् च उदग्रो विनतस् तथा दीर्घश् च हरिकेशश् च सुतीर्थः कृष्ण एव च
He is turbaned, of beautiful face, exalted, humble, tall, with tawny hair, of excellent sanctity, and also dark in complexion.
शृगालरूपः सर्वार्थो मुण्डः सर्वशुभङ्करः सिंहशार्दूलरूपश् च गन्धकारी कपर्द्यपि
He takes the form of a jackal, is the essence of all, shaven-headed, the bringer of all auspiciousness, with the forms of lion and tiger, the fragrance-giver, and also with matted locks.
ऊर्ध्वरेतोर्ध्वलिङ्गी च ऊर्ध्वशायी नभस्तलः त्रिजटी चीरवासाश् च रुद्रः सेनापतिर् विभुः
He is of upward-flowing seed, with an upward-pointing emblem, lying upwards, abiding in the sky, three-braided, clothed in bark, Rudra, the lord of armies, the all-pervading.
अहोरात्रं च नक्तं च तिग्ममन्युः सुवर्चसः गजहा दैत्यहा कालो लोकधाता गुणाकरः
He is day and night, the nocturnal, of fierce wrath, radiant, slayer of elephants, destroyer of demons, time, the sustainer of the worlds, and the repository of qualities.
सिंहशार्दूलरूपाणाम् आर्द्रचर्मांबरंधरः कालयोगी महानादः सर्वावासश्चतुष्पथः
He assumes the forms of lion and tiger, wears moist hides as garments, is the master of time, the great sound, dwelling everywhere, and present at the crossroads.
निशाचरः प्रेतचारी सर्वदर्शी महेश्वरः बहुभूतो बहुधनः सर्वसारो ऽमृतेश्वरः
He moves by night, wanders among the dead, sees all, is the great lord, manifests in many forms, is very wealthy, the essence of all, and the lord of immortality.
नृत्यप्रियो नित्यनृत्यो नर्तनः सर्वसाधकः सकार्मुको महाबाहुर् महाघोरो महातपाः
He delights in dance, is ever-dancing, the dancer, accomplisher of all, armed with a bow, great-armed, exceedingly fierce, and of great austerity.
महाशरो महापाशो नित्यो गिरिचरो मतः सहस्रहस्तो विजयो व्यवसायो ह्यनिन्दितः
He is the great arrow, the great noose, eternal, known as the mountain-dweller, thousand-armed, victorious, resolute, and blameless.
अमर्षणो मर्षणात्मा यज्ञहा कामनाशनः दक्षहा परिचारी च प्रहसो मध्यमस् तथा
He is unyielding, patient by nature, destroyer of sacrifice, destroyer of desire, slayer of Daksha, attendant, laughing, and also moderate.
तेजो ऽपहारी बलवान् विदितो ऽभ्युदितो बहुः गंभीरघोषो योगात्मा यज्ञहा कामनाशनः
He is the remover of brilliance, powerful, renowned, ever-rising, manifold, of deep voice, of yogic nature, destroyer of sacrifice, destroyer of desire.
गंभीररोषो गंभीरो गंभीरबलवाहनः न्यग्रोधरूपो न्यग्रोधो विश्वकर्मा च विश्वभुक्
He is of deep wrath, profound, with a vehicle of great strength, in the form of the banyan tree, the banyan itself, the maker of the universe, and the enjoyer of the universe.
तीक्ष्णोपायश् च हर्यश्वः सहायः कर्मकालवित् विष्णुः प्रसादितो यज्ञः समुद्रो वडवामुखः
He is skilled in sharp means, with tawny horses, a companion, knower of the time for action, appeased Vishnu, sacrifice, the ocean, and the submarine fire.
हुताशनसहायश् च प्रशान्तात्मा हुताशनः उग्रतेजा महातेजा जयो विजयकालवित्
He is the companion of fire, of tranquil mind, fire itself, of fierce energy, of great energy, victorious, and knower of the time of victory.
ज्योतिषामयनं सिद्धिः संधिर्विग्रह एव च खड्गी शङ्खी जटी ज्वाली खचरो द्युचरो बली
He is the abode of light, accomplishment, peace, and conflict; armed with a sword, conch-holder, matted-haired, flaming, sky-walker, space-traveler, and strong.
वैणवी पणवी कालः कालकण्ठः कटंकटः नक्षत्रविग्रहो भावो निभावः सर्वतोमुखः
He is the player of the lute, drummer, time, dark-throated, with a dreadful throat, of starry form, existence, non-existence, and faces in all directions.
विमोचनस्तु शरणो हिरण्यकवचोद्भवः मेखलाकृतिरूपश् च जलाचारः स्तुतस् तथा
He is the liberator, refuge, born with a golden armor, of girdle-like form, water-dweller, and praised.
वीणी च पणवी ताली नाली कलिकटुस् तथा सर्वतूर्यनिनादी च सर्वव्याप्यपरिग्रहः
He is the player of the lute, drummer, cymbalist, flutist, and also the one with the reed-pipe; the sound of all instruments, and the all-pervading, unattached one.
व्यालरूपी बिलावासी गुहावासी तरंगवित् वृक्षः श्रीमालकर्मा च सर्वबन्धविमोचनः
He takes the form of a serpent, dwells in burrows, abides in caves, moves with the waves, is a tree, performs auspicious acts, and is the liberator from all bonds.
बन्धनस्तु सुरेन्द्राणां युधि शत्रुविनाशनः सखा प्रवासो दुर्वापः सर्वसाधुनिषेवितः
He is the bondage of the lords of the gods in battle, the destroyer of enemies, a friend, an exile, difficult to attain, and served by all the virtuous.
प्रस्कन्दो ऽप्यविभावश् च तुल्यो यज्ञविभागवित् सर्ववासः सर्वचारी दुर्वासा वासवो मतः
He is Praskanda, also Avibhāva, equal, the knower of sacrificial portions, dwelling everywhere, moving everywhere, difficult to approach, and regarded as Vāsava.
हैमो हेमकरो यज्ञः सर्वधारी धरोत्तमः आकाशो निर्विरूपश् च विवासा उरगः खगः
He is golden, the maker of gold, the sacrifice, the supporter of all, the best of mountains, the sky, formless, exiled, a serpent, and a bird.
भिक्षुश् च भिक्षुरूपी च रौद्ररूपः सुरूपवान् वसुरेताः सुवचस्वी वसुवेगो महाबलः
He is a mendicant, takes the form of a mendicant, has a fierce form, yet is beautiful, has radiant seed, speaks well, swift as the wind, and of great strength.
मनोवेगो निशाचारः सर्वलोकशुभप्रदः सर्वावासी त्रयीवासी उपदेशकरो धरः
He is swift as thought, moves at night, bestows auspiciousness upon all worlds, dwells everywhere, abides in the three Vedas, is the giver of instruction, and is the earth.
मुनिरात्मा मुनिर् लोकः सभाग्यश् च सहस्रभुक् पक्षी च पक्षरूपश् च अतिदीप्तो निशाकरः
He is a sage, the soul, the world itself, fortunate, the thousand-eater, a bird, takes the form of a bird, exceedingly radiant, and the maker of night.
समीरो दमनाकारो ह्य् अर्थो ह्यर्थकरो वशः वासुदेवश् च देवश् च वामदेवश् च वामनः
He is the wind, takes the form of Damanaka, is wealth, the giver of wealth, self-controlled, Vāsudeva, Deva, Vāmadeva, and Vāmana.
सिद्धियोगापहारी च सिद्धः सर्वार्थसाधकः अक्षुण्णः क्षुण्णरूपश् च वृषणो मृदुर् अव्ययः
He is the remover of yogic accomplishments, accomplished, fulfiller of all aims, unbroken, takes a broken form, virile, gentle, and imperishable.
महासेनो विशाखश् च षष्टिभागो गवां पतिः चक्रहस्तस्तु विष्टम्भी मूलस्तम्भन एव च
He is Mahāsena, Viśākha, the sixth part, lord of cows, wielder of the discus, the supporter, and the root-support.
ऋतुरृतुकरस्तालो मधुर्मधुकरो वरः वानस्पत्यो वाजसनो नित्यमाश्रमपूजितः
He is the season, the maker of seasons, the palm tree, sweet, the honey-maker, excellent, of the forest, the seat of strength, and always honored in hermitages.
ब्रह्मचारी लोकचारी सर्वचारी सुचारवित् ईशान ईश्वरः कालो निशाचारी ह्यनेकदृक्
He is a celibate, moves among worlds, moves everywhere, knows good conduct, is Īśāna, the Lord, Time, moves at night, and has many forms of vision.
