In the sacred narrative, the Supreme Being is revealed as the very instrument, cause, and doer behind all creation, the liberator from every bond. He is the most learned, utterly fearless, and the steadfast supporter of the universe, even the maker of night. His resolve forms the foundation of all that exists; he grants every being its place and is the origin of the world. Like a resounding drum, he plays in joy, pervading all, his essence inseparable from Bhava, established firmly in the self. He is the Lord of heroes, Virabhadra, both slayer and supporter of heroes, manifesting the cosmic form and shining as the crest-jewel among the valiant. He is the knower, whose intense sound reverberates throughout existence, and he bears the rivers within himself. He commands all, wielding the trident, pervading everything, and is the abode of Shiva. He is Vālakhilya, the great bow, the blazing sun, and the imperishable treasure. Delightful and excellent as a refuge, he is supremely learned, the lord of nectar, known as Maghavan and Kauśika, possessor of cows, repose, and ruler of all. With an eye in his forehead and a cosmic body, he is the very essence of existence, bearing the wheel of samsara, wielding the unfailing staff, impartial, golden, and radiant with Brahman’s splendor. He is the supreme truth and strength, Shambara, tiger-eyed, fire, splendid and most excellent in radiance, worthy of praise, lord of speech, and lord of day. As the sun, the shining one, he is the support and teacher, the son of Vivasvat, personified skill and renown, with passions calmed, and conqueror of defeat. He is the lord of Kailāsa, enemy of Kāma, Savitṛ, sun-eyed, foremost among the wise, fearless, destroyer of the universe, and unrestrained. Eternal and ever-auspicious, his fame is holy to hear; he is far-hearing, supporter of the universe, fit for meditation, and destroyer of evil dreams. He is the deliverer, destroyer of evil deeds, unassailable, hard to endure, fearless, without beginning, the earth itself, fortune of the worlds, crowned, and lord of the gods. Protector and sustainer of the universe, steadfast, adorned with beautiful armlets, creator, origin of beings, affectionate, just, and leader. Distinguished, descendant of Kaśyapa, radiant and formidable, of terrible valor, the sacred syllable, of sevenfold conduct, great-bodied, and wielder of the great bow. He is lord of birth, the great god, master of all scriptures, essence of discernment between truth and untruth, adorned and adorned with ashes. He is sage, victorious over Brahmins, beyond birth, death, and old age, sacrifice and lord of sacrifice, performer and end of sacrifice, of unfailing valor. As the great Indra, difficult to bear, leader of armies, embodiment and vehicle of sacrifice, origin of the five Brahmas, lord of all, pure in rising. Self-born, without beginning or end, supporter of twenty-six and seven worlds, beloved of Gāyatrī, tall, abode of the universe, and source of light. He is child, mountain-dweller, sovereign, well-armed, destroyer of a hundred gods, unfailing, destroyer of calamity, Mukunda, and free from affliction. Self-luminous, source of light, light of the self, unwavering, tawny with a tawny beard, with scripture as his eye, embodiment of the three Vedas. He is a mass of knowledge, greatly wise, without origin, the upheaval, Bhaga, Vivasvat, Āditya, teacher of yoga, and Bṛhaspati. Of noble fame, industrious, ever united, composed of both being and non-being, adorned with a garland of stars, lord of the full moon, established in his own place, and the support of six. With pure hands, enemy of sin, possessing the maṇipūra center, swift as the mind, seated in the lotus of the heart, pure, peaceful, and the bull-bannered one. He is Viṣṇu, lord of the planets, dark-hued, capable, destroyer of misfortune, enemy of unrighteousness, invulnerable, invoked by many, and praised by men. His womb is Brahman, vast, the cow of righteousness, source of wealth, seeker of the world's welfare, well-gone, the youth, and master of auspicious knowledge. Golden-hued and radiant, bearer of diverse beings, sound itself, free from disease, overseer of discipline, friend of the world, and best among the twice-born. Of great brilliance, abode of nectar, supreme in radiance, the maternal grandfather, the wind-god, the sky-farer, and bearer of the serpent-garland. Pulastya, Pulaha, Agastya, Jātūkarṇya, Parāśara, knower of unobstructed dharma, the creator, and of far-reaching fame. Self-born, unrestrained, embodiment of Atri's knowledge, of great renown, the crest-jewel of the world, heroic, fierce, truthful, and of supreme valor. Serpent-like, of great cycles, great tree, bearer of arts, ever-ornamenting, unmoving, shining, and of unsurpassed prowess. Lord of swift sound, speedy, leaping, charioteer of the peacock, untouched, guest, Indra, destroyer, and remover of sin. Renowned among Vasus, leader of offerings, blazing, nourisher of all, ageless, remover of old age, red-hued, and son of Tanūnapāt. With dappled horses, born of the sky, of beautiful form, dispeller of darkness, summer heat, the burning one, cloud, winged, and conqueror of enemy cities. Breath from the mouth, well-formed, fragrant, of cool nature, spring, Mādhava, summer, Nabhasya, and bearer of seeds. Aṅgiras, son of Atri, pure, bearer of the universe, purifier, conqueror of many, Indra, knower of the three Vedas, and bearer of men. Mind, intellect, ego, knower and protector of the field, repository of energy and knowledge, ripener, and creator of obstacles. Lower, unsurpassed, to be known, eldest, abode of supreme good, mountain, hill, whose body is the mountain, enemy of the Dānavas, subduer of foes. Of beautiful intellect, father, remover of the world's pain, the four Vedas, of fourfold nature, four, and beloved of the four. The Veda, the complete Veda, deity of the holy places, abode of Śiva, of many forms, of great form, of all forms, both moving and unmoving. He is the upholder of justice, justice itself, accessible through justice, stainless, with a thousand heads, lord of the gods, and destroyer of all weapons. Shaven-headed, deformed, terrifying, staff-bearing, self-restrained, supreme in virtues, tawny-eyed, golden-eyed, blue-throated, and free from disease. Thus, the Supreme is revealed in countless forms and qualities, encompassing all creation, sustaining every being, and guiding the universe with wisdom, strength, and compassion.
