अर्चयन्ति सदा लिङ्गं विश्वेशः खलु दृश्यते
They always worship the linga; the Lord of the universe is truly seen.
सकृत्प्रणाममात्रेण स रुद्रः खलु दृश्यते
With even a single act of reverent salutation, Rudra is truly seen.
हिरण्यगर्भपुत्रो ऽसावीश्वरो दृश्यते किल

नमः संसारनाशाय संसारोत्पत्तये नमः

नमः कार्यविहीनाय विश्वप्रकृतये नमः

You must discipline the son of Virin̄ci; you must bear his head.
चरस्व सततं भिक्षां संस्थापय सुरद्विजान्
Constantly wander for alms and establish the gods and twice-born.
स्थानं स्वाभाविकं दिव्यं ययौ तत्परमं पदम्
He went to that supreme abode, his own natural, divine place.
ग्राहयामास वदनं ब्रह्मणः कालभैरवम्
He caused Kālabhairava to take the head of Brahmā.
कपालहस्तो भगवान् भिक्षां गृह्णातु सर्वतः

दंष्ट्राकरालवदनां ज्वालामालाविभूषणाम्
With a face fierce with fangs, adorned with a garland of flames.
