अपारः परमार्थश्च पराणां च परः प्रभुः 15.
Boundless, of supreme purpose, and the supreme Lord of the supreme—
शुद्धः प्रकाशरूपश्च पवित्रः परिरक्षकः 15.
Pure, of the form of light, sanctified, the protector—
प्रधानं पृथिवीपद्मं पद्मनाभः प्रियप्रदः 15.
The chief, the earth-lotus, lotus-naveled, bestower of affection—
सर्वस्य जगतो धाम सर्वदर्शो च सर्वभृत् 15.
The support of all the worlds, all-seeing, sustainer of all—
सर्वपूज्यश्च सर्वाद्यः सर्वदेवनमस्कृतः 15.
Worthy of all worship, the first of all, saluted by all the gods—
सर्वगोप्ता सर्वनिष्ठः सर्वकारणकारणम् 15.
Protector of all, the ultimate refuge of all, the cause of all causes.
सर्वाध्यक्षः सुराऽध्यक्ष सुरासुरनमस्कृतः 15.
He is the overseer of all, the lord of the gods, honored by both gods and demons.
सत्यपालश्च सन्नाभः सिद्धेशः सिद्धवन्दितः 15.
He is the protector of truth, the one with the navel as the origin, the lord of the perfected beings, worshipped by the perfected ones.
शरणं जगतश्चैव श्रेयः क्षेमस्तथैव च 15.
He is the refuge of the world, and likewise the source of welfare and security.
सत्यस्थः सत्यसङ्कल्पः सत्यवित्सत्य (त्प) दस्तथ 15.
He abides in truth, his resolve is truth, he knows truth, and he speaks truth.
कर्म्मकर्त्ता च कर्मैव क्रिया कार्य्यं तथैव च 15.
He is the doer of actions, the action itself, the process, and also the result.
सदेवानां पतिश्चैव वृष्णीनां पतिरीडितः 15.
He is indeed the lord of the gods, praised as the lord of the Vṛṣṇis.
पशूनां च पतिः प्रायो वसूनां पतिरेव च 15.
He is generally the lord of the animals, and indeed the lord of the Vasus.
वनस्पतीनां च पतिरनिलस्य पतिस्तथा 15.
He is the lord of the trees, and likewise the lord of the wind.
कुबेरस्य पतिश्चैव नक्षत्राणां पतिस्तथा 15.
He is the lord of Kubera, and also the lord of the stars.
नागानां पतिरर्कस्य दक्षस्य पतिरेव च 15.
He is the lord of the serpents, the lord of the sun, and indeed the lord of Dakṣa.
गन्धर्वाणां पतिश्चैव असूनां पतिरुत्तमः 15.
He is the lord of the Gandharvas, and the supreme lord of the Asūnas.
सुराणां च पतिः श्रेष्ठः कपिलस्य पतिस्तथा 15.
He is the foremost lord of the gods, and likewise the lord of Kapila.
मुनीनां च पतिश्चैव सूर्य्यस्य पतिरुत्तमः 15.
He is the lord of the sages, and the supreme lord of the sun.
ग्रहाणां च पतिश्चैव राक्षसानां पतिस्तथा 15.
He is the lord of the planets, and likewise the lord of the Rākṣasas.
सरितां च पतिश्चैव समुद्राणां पतिस्तथा 15.
He is the lord of the rivers, and likewise the lord of the oceans.
वेतालानां पतिश्चैव कूष्माण्डानां पतिस्तथा 15.
He is the lord of the Vetālas, and likewise the lord of the Kūṣmāṇḍas.
महात्मा मंगलो मेयो मन्दरो मन्दरेश्वरः 15.
He is the great soul, auspicious, worthy of honor, Mandara, and the lord of Mandara.
मालाधरो महादेवो महादेवेन पूजितः 15.
He is the wearer of garlands, the great god, worshipped by the great god.
महावीर्य्यो महाप्राणो मार्कण्डेयर्षिवन्दितः 15.
He is of great might, of great vital energy, and is worshipped by the sage Markandeya.
मुनिस्तुतो मुनिर्मैत्रो महाना (रा) सो महाहनुः 15.
Praised by sages, himself a sage, friendly, great in strength, and possessing a mighty jaw.
महावक्त्रो महात्मा च महाकायो महोदरः 15.
He has a great mouth, is noble-souled, has a great body, and a vast belly.
महागतिर्महाकीर्त्तिर्महारूपो महासुरः 15.
He has great movement, great fame, a great form, and is a mighty being.
मखेज्यो मखरूपी च माननीयो मखेश्वरः 15.
He is to be worshipped in sacrifices, takes the form of sacrifice, is worthy of honor, and is the lord of sacrifices.
मानवश्च मनुश्चैव मानवानां प्रियंकरः 15.
He is human, he is Manu, and he brings delight to human beings.
