तस्योपरिष्टाच्छक्तिसंज्ञां च लक्ष्मीमाधाररूपां प्रणमेच्चैव नित्यम् । तस्योपरिष्टाद्वायुकूर्मौ नमेच्च तस्योपरिष्टाच्छेषकूर्मौ नमेच्च ॥ ३,२४.
Above that, one should always bow to Lakṣmī, known as Śakti, in her form as the support; above that, one should bow to the Vāyu-tortoise, and above that, to the Śeṣa-tortoise.
तस्योपरिष्टादभिमानिनीं भुवो भूदेवतां प्रणमेच्चैव सुभ्रूः । तस्योपरिष्टाद्वरुणं संस्मरेच्च क्षीरोदधेरधिपं चैव देवम् ॥ ३,२४.
Above that, one should bow to Bhūdevī, the presiding goddess of the earth; above that, one should remember Varuṇa, the deity who is lord of the ocean of milk.
तस्योपरिष्टात्प्रणमेच्चैव लक्ष्मीं श्वेतद्वीपाख्यं कन्यके पूजयेच्च । तस्योपरिष्टात्प्रणमेच्चैव लक्ष्मीं महादिव्यां मण्डपसंज्ञकां च ॥ ३,२४.
Above that, one should bow to Lakṣmī, known as Śvetadvīpa, O maiden, and worship her; above that, one should bow to Lakṣmī, the great divine one, known as Maṇḍapa.
पीठस्य मध्ये यमसंज्ञां च लक्ष्मीं समर्चयेद्यममध्ये च देवीम् । यमस्य देवस्य च दक्षिणे च सूर्यं नमेद्दीपरूपं च भद्रे ॥ ३,२४.
In the center of the seat, one should worship Lakṣmī, known as Yama, and the goddess in the midst of Yama; to the south of Yama, one should bow to Sūrya, in the form of a lamp, O auspicious one.
यमस्य देवस्य च वामभागे श्रियं नमेद्दीपरूपां च देवीम् । यमस्य देवस्य तु चाग्रभागे हुताशनं दीपरूपं नमेच्च ॥ ३,२४.
To the left of Yama, one should bow to Śrī, in the form of a lamp, O Goddess; in front of Yama, one should bow to Hutāśana, the fire, in the form of a lamp.
देवस्याग्रे भूमिनाम्नीं नमेच्च तत्त्वाभिमानां संस्मरेच्चैव नित्यम् । पर्यङ्करूपं श्रीनिवासस्य विष्णोस्तमोभिमानां सन्नमेच्चैव दुर्गाम् ॥ ३,२४.
In front of the deity, one should bow to Bhūmi, the earth goddess, who presides over the elements, and always remember her; in the form of a couch, one should bow to Durgā, who presides over darkness, as Viṣṇu's Śrīnivāsa.
पूर्वादिगं पीठसोपानरूपमात्मानमेकं प्रणमेच्च देवि । दक्षस्थदिक्पीठसोपानरूपं ज्ञानात्मकं प्रणमेच्चैव कन्ये ॥ ३,२४.
O Devi, one should bow to the single form of the seat and step in the eastern direction as oneself; O maiden, one should also bow to the form of the seat and step in the southern direction, which is of the nature of knowledge.
पद्मस्य पूर्वस्थदले च देवि स्त्रीरूपाख्यं विमलाख्यामिमां च । ब्रह्मादिदेवान्प्रणमेच्च देवि आग्नेयकोणस्थदले शृणुत्वम् ॥ ३,२४.
O Devi, on the petal situated to the east of the lotus, bow to the one called the pure feminine form; and bow to Brahma and the other gods, O Devi, on the petal situated at the southeast corner—listen to this.
उत्कर्षनाम्नीं परमां च देवीं नमेद्रमां ब्रह्मवायू च शेषम् । दक्षस्थपद्मस्य दलाष्टके च नारायणाकारशेषादिकानाम् ॥ ३,२४.
Bow to the supreme goddess named Utkarsha, and to Indra, Brahma, and Vayu, and the rest; and on the eight petals to the south, bow to those in the forms of Narayana, Shesha, and others.
स्त्रीरूपेभ्यो नमनं कार्यमेव कन्ये मया पश्चिमस्थे दले च । गोपाख्यनारायणब्रह्मवायुविप्रादिकानां शेषरूद्रादिकानाम् ॥ ३,२४.
O maiden, one should indeed bow to the feminine forms, and on the petal situated to the west, bow to those known as Gopa, Narayana, Brahma, Vayu, Vipra, Shesha, Rudra, and others.
स्त्रीरूपेभ्यो नमनं कार्यमेव ईशान कोणस्थदलेषु चैव । ईशाननारायणमाविरिञ्चवायुर्वियच्छेषसुरादिकानाम् ॥ ३,२४.
One should indeed bow to the feminine forms, and likewise on the petals situated at the northeast corner; to Ishana, Narayana, Avirincha, Vayu, Viyach, Shesha, Suras, and others.
स्त्रीरूपेभ्यो नमनं कार्यमेव तथैव पद्मस्य च मध्यभागे । अनुग्रहाख्या विष्णुलक्ष्मीश्च देवी वायुर्वियच्छेषरुद्रादिकानाम् ॥ ३,२४.
One should indeed bow to the feminine forms, and likewise in the central part of the lotus; to the goddess called Anugraha, to Vishnu, Lakshmi, Vayu, Viyach, Shesha, Rudra, and others.
स्त्रीरूपाणां नमनं कार्यमेव सुयोगपीठस्य स्वरूप भूतम् । सदा नमेच्छ्रीमदनन्तसंज्ञमेवं न मेच्छ्रीनिवासं च देवम् ॥ ३,२४.
One should indeed bow to the feminine forms, which are the very essence of the excellent seat; always bow to the one called Shri Madananta, and likewise to the god Shri Nivasa.
श्रीनिवासस्य वामे तु लक्ष्मीं च प्रणमेद्वुधः । श्रीनिवासस्य सव्ये तु धरायै प्रणमेच्छुभे ॥ ३,२४.
To the left of Srinivasa, bow to Lakshmi; to the right of Srinivasa, O auspicious one, bow to Dharā.
पीठाद्वहिः पूर्वभागे कृपोल्कं प्रणमेच्छुभम् । महोल्कं दक्षिणे चैव वीरोल्कं पश्चिमे नमेत् ॥ ३,२४.
Outside the seat, in the eastern direction, bow to Krpolka, O auspicious one; in the south, bow to Maholka, and in the west, bow to Virolka.
उत्तरे च नमः कुर्याद्युल्काय च महात्मने । चतुर्ष्वपि च कोणेषु सहस्रोल्कं नमेत्सुधीः ॥ ३,२४.
And in the north, one should bow to Yulka, the great soul; and in all four corners, the wise should bow to Sahasrolka.
पूर्वे तु वासुदेवाय नमस्कुर्याच्च दक्षिणे । संकर्षणाय देवाय प्रद्युम्नाय च पश्चिमे ॥ ३,२४.
In the east, one should bow to Vasudeva, and in the south to Sankarshana; in the west, bow to Pradyumna.
उत्तरे ह्यनिरुद्ध्या नमस्कुर्यादतन्द्रितः । आग्नेये च नमस्कुर्यात्कन्ये मायां सदा शुभे ॥ ३,२४.
In the north, one should bow to Aniruddha without fatigue; in the southeast, O maiden, always bow to Maya, O auspicious one.
जयायै च नमस्कुर्यान्नैरृत्ये चापि वायवे । कृत्ये चैव नमस्कुर्यादीशान्ये शान्तिसंज्ञकाम् ॥ ३,२४.
One should bow to Jaya in the southwest, and also to Vayu; and bow to Krtya in the northeast, known as Shanti.
केशवाय नमः पूर्वे तथा नारायणाय च । माधवाय नमस्कुर्यान्नैरृत्ये चापि वायवे ॥ ३,२४.
In the east, bow to Keshava, and also to Narayana; in the southwest, bow to Madhava, and also to Vayu.
आग्नेये कन्यके नित्यं भक्त्या तु प्रयतः शुभे । गोविन्दाय नमस्कुर्याद्दक्षिणे विष्णवे तथा ॥ ३,२४.
In the southeast, O maiden, always bow with devotion and purity to Govinda; in the south, likewise bow to Vishnu.
मधुसूदनाय भोः कन्ये नमस्कुर्यात्तु नैरृतौ । पश्चिमे त्रिविक्रमाय वामनाय तथैव च ॥ ३,२४.
O maiden, bow to Madhusudana in the southwest; in the west, likewise bow to Trivikrama and Vamana.
विष्णवे श्रीधरायाथ नमस्कुर्याच्च भामिति । उत्तरे तु महाकन्ये हृषीकेशाय वै नमः ॥ ३,२४.
Bow to Vishnu and Shridhara, O radiant one; and in the north, O great maiden, bow to Hrishikesha.
तथा वै पद्मनाभाय नमस्कुर्यादतन्द्रितः । दामोदराय चैशान्ये नमस्कुर्याच्च भामिनि ॥ ३,२४.
Likewise, bow without fatigue to Padmanabha; and in the northeast, O radiant one, bow to Damodara.
चतुर्थावरणे पूर्वे महाकूर्माय वै नमः । वराहाय नमस्कुर्यादाग्नेये कन्यके शुभे ॥ ३,२४.
In the fourth enclosure, in the east, one should offer homage to the great Tortoise; in the southeast, O auspicious maiden, one should bow to Varaha.
दक्षिणे नारसिंहाय वामनाय नमोनमः । भार्गवाय नमस्कुर्यान्नैरृत्ये शुद्धचेतसा ॥ ३,२४.
In the south, repeated salutations to Narasimha and Vamana; in the southwest, with pure mind, one should bow to Bhargava.
पश्चिमे माधवायाथ तथा कृष्णाय वै नमः । बुद्धाय च नमस्कुर्याद्वायव्ये कन्यके शुभे ॥ ३,२४.
In the west, one should bow to Madhava and likewise to Krishna; in the northwest, O auspicious maiden, one should bow to Buddha.
उत्तरे ह्युल्करूपाय अनन्ताय नमोस्तु ते । ईशान्ये विश्वरूपाय नमस्कुर्यादतन्द्रितः ॥ ३,२४.
In the north, indeed, salutations to Ulkarupa and Ananta; in the northeast, one should bow without fatigue to Vishvarupa.
आग्नेये वारुणीं चैव गायत्रीं चैव नैरृते । वायव्ये भारतीं चैव ईशान्ये गिरिजां नमेत् ॥ ३,२४.
In the southeast, one should honor Varuni, and in the southwest, Gayatri; in the northwest, Bharati, and in the northeast, one should bow to Girija.
गिरिजां वामभागे तु सौपर्णै चैव संनमेत् । प्रागिन्द्राय नमस्कुर्यात्सायुधाय तथैव च ॥ ३,२४.
One should bow to Girija on the left side, and also to the Suparnas; in the east, one should bow to Indra, and likewise to him who bears weapons.
