रासेश्वरी सुरसिका रासावासनिवासिनी । गोलोकवासिनी देवी गोपीवेषविधायिका
She is the sovereign of the rasa, delighting in divine play, dwelling in the abode of the rasa; the Goddess who resides in Goloka, the giver of the gopi form.
परमाह्लादरूपा च सन्तोषहर्षरूपिणी । निर्गुणा च निराकारा निर्लिप्ताऽऽत्मस्वरूपिणी
She is the embodiment of supreme joy, the form of satisfaction and delight; she is without qualities, without form, untouched, and of the nature of the Self.
निरीहा निरहङ्कारा भक्तानुग्रहविग्रहा । वेदानुसारिध्यानेन विज्ञाता मा विचक्षणैः
She is without desire, without ego, the embodiment of grace toward devotees; known only through meditation in accordance with the Vedas, not by the clever.
दृष्टिदृष्टा न सा चेशैः सुरेन्द्रैर्मुनिपुङ्गवैः । वह्निशुद्धांशुकधरा नानालङ्कारभूषिता
She is seen by vision, not by the senses, nor by the lords of gods or the foremost sages; she wears garments purified by fire, adorned with various ornaments.
कोटिचन्द्रप्रभा पुष्टसर्वश्रीयुक्तविग्रहा । श्रीकृष्णभक्तिदास्यैककरा च सर्वसम्पदाम्
Her form is endowed with the radiance of ten million moons and all prosperity; she holds in her hand the exclusive service of devotion to Sri Krishna, and all treasures.
अवतारे च वाराहे वृषभानुसुता च या । यत्पादपद्मसंस्पर्शात्पवित्रा च वसुन्धरा
In her Varaha incarnation, she is the daughter of Vrishabhanu; by the touch of her lotus feet, the earth itself becomes pure.
ब्रह्मादिभिरदृष्टा या सर्वैर्दृष्टा च भारते । स्त्रीरत्नसारसम्भूता कृष्णवक्षःस्थले स्थिता
She is unseen by Brahma and others, yet seen by all in Bharata; born from the essence of the jewels among women, she dwells on Krishna’s chest.
यथाम्बरे नवघने लोला सौदामनी मुने । षष्टिवर्षसहस्राणि प्रतप्तं ब्रह्मणा पुरा
O sage, just as a lightning flash moves playfully among new clouds in the sky, so for sixty thousand years Brahma performed austerities in ancient times.
यत्पादपद्मनखरदृष्टये चात्मशुद्धये । न च दृष्टं च स्वप्नेऽपि प्रत्यक्षस्यापि का कथा

गोलोकस्थानप्रस्थानसुखसोपानरूपिणी । पवित्ररूपा तीर्थानां सरितां च परावरा
She is the stair of happiness for ascending to and departing from Goloka; pure in form, she is the supreme among holy places and rivers.
शम्भुमौलिजटामेरुमुक्तापंक्तिस्वरूपिणी । तपःसम्पादिनी सद्यो भारतेषु तपस्विनाम्
She is the string of pearls on the Meru-like matted locks of Shiva; she instantly grants the fruits of austerity to ascetics in Bharata.
चन्द्रपद्मक्षीरनिभा शुद्धसत्त्वस्वरूपिणी । निर्मला निरहङ्कारा साध्वी नारायणप्रिया
She is like the moon, lotus, and milk in appearance, embodying pure sattva; spotless, free from ego, virtuous, and dear to Narayana.
प्रधानांशस्वरूपा च तुलसी विष्णुकामिनी । विष्णुभूषणरूपा च विष्णुपादस्थिता सती
The one whose essential form is the principal portion is Tulasi, beloved of Vishnu; she is the ornament of Vishnu and steadfast at his feet.
तपःसंकल्पपूजादिसङ्घसम्पादिनी मुने । सारभूता च पुष्पाणां पवित्रा पुण्यदा सदा
O sage, she fulfills assemblies of austerity, resolve, worship, and the like; she is the essence of flowers, always pure and bestower of merit.
दर्शनस्पर्शनाभ्यां च सद्यो निर्वाणदायिनी । कलौ कलुषशुष्केध्मदहनायाग्निरूपिणी
By her sight and touch, she instantly grants liberation; in the Kali age, she takes the form of fire to burn the dry fuel of sin.
यत्पादपद्मसंस्पर्शात्सद्यः पूता वसुन्धरा । यत्स्पर्शदर्शने चैवेच्छन्ति तीर्थानि शुद्धये
By the touch of her lotus feet, the earth is instantly purified; holy places desire her touch and sight for their own purification.
यया विना च विश्वेषु सर्वकर्म च निष्फलम् । मोक्षदा या मुमुक्षूणां कामिनी सर्वकामदा
Without her, all actions in the worlds are fruitless; she grants liberation to those who seek it and fulfills all desires.
कल्पवृक्षस्वरूपा या भारते वृक्षरूपिणी । भारतीनां प्रीणनाय जाता या परदेवता
She is the wish-fulfilling tree in form, appearing as a tree in Bharata; she was born to delight the people of Bharata, the supreme goddess.
प्रधानांशस्वरूपा या मनसा कश्यपात्मजा । शङ्करप्रियशिष्या च महाज्ञानविशारदा
The one whose essential form is the principal portion, born from the mind as the daughter of Kashyapa, is the beloved disciple of Shankara and expert in great knowledge.
नागेश्वरस्यानन्तस्य भगिनी नागपूजिता । नागेश्वरी नागमाता सुन्दरी नागवाहिनी
She is the sister of Ananta, lord of the Nagas, worshipped by serpents; she is the queen of Nagas, mother of Nagas, beautiful, and rides upon serpents.
नागेन्द्रगणसंयुक्ता नागभूषणभूषिता । नागेन्द्रवन्दिता सिद्धा योगिनी नगशायिनी
Surrounded by hosts of serpent lords, adorned with serpent ornaments, worshipped by serpent kings, accomplished, a yogini, and resting upon a serpent.
विष्णुरूपा विष्णुभक्ता विष्णुपूजापरायणा । तपःस्वरूपा तपसां फलदात्री तपस्विनी
She is of the form of Vishnu, devoted to Vishnu, intent on worshipping Vishnu; she is the embodiment of austerity, bestower of the fruits of austerity, and herself an ascetic.
दिव्यं त्रिलक्षवर्षं च तपस्तप्त्वा च या हरेः । तपस्विनीषु पूज्या च तपस्विषु च भारते
Having performed divine austerity for three hundred thousand years for Hari, she is honored among ascetic women and among ascetics in Bharata.
सर्वमन्त्राधिदेवी च ज्वलन्ती ब्रह्मतेजसा । ब्रह्मस्वरूपा परमा ब्रह्मभावनतत्परा
She is the presiding goddess over all mantras, blazing with the radiance of Brahman, supreme in essence, and devoted to the contemplation of Brahman.
जरत्कारुमुनेः पत्नी कृष्णांशस्य पतिव्रता । आस्तीकस्य मुनेर्माता प्रवरस्य तपस्विनाम्
She is the wife of the sage Jaratkaru, devoted to her husband who is a portion of Krishna, and the mother of the sage Astika, foremost among ascetics.
