दर्पणैः पूर्णचंद्रास्यसौंदर्यदर्शनोत्सुकैः
Eager to see their own beauty reflected in mirrors, their faces radiant like the full moon.
सुंदरीणां समूहैश्च रक्षितं राधिकाज्ञया
Guarded by groups of beautiful women, by the command of Rādhikā.
श्वेतरक्तैर्लोहितैश्च वेष्टितैः पद्मराजितैः
Surrounded by white, red, and crimson lotus jewels.
भोगद्रव्यसकर्पूरतांबूलवस्त्रसंयुतैः
Supplied with enjoyments, camphor, betel, and garments.
विचित्रपुष्पमालाभिः शोभितैः शोभितं मुने
Adorned, O sage, with garlands of various flowers, it shone brilliantly.
ततो विचक्षणं रम्यं ददृशुः सुंदरं वनम्
Then, the wise ones beheld a delightful and beautiful forest.
क्रीडास्थानं तयोरेव कल्पवृक्षचयान्वितम्
The playground of those two, filled with groves of wish-fulfilling trees.
कस्तूरीयुक्तपत्राब्जैः पुष्पौघैः सुरभीकृतम्
Made fragrant by clusters of flowers and lotus leaves imbued with musk.
कुत्र हेलिकदंबानां कदंबैः कमनीयकम्
Where is the grove of kadamba trees, adorned with charming kadamba blossoms?
सुगंधिकुसुमानां च गंधेन सुरभीकृतम्
Made fragrant by the scent of sweet-smelling flowers.
तालानां नारिकेलानां वृंदैर्वृंदारकं वनम्
A forest filled with clusters of palm and coconut trees.
गुर्वाकाम्रातकानां च जंबीराणां च नारद
And, O Narada, with groves of heavy mango trees and citron trees.
सुपक्वफलसंयुक्तैः समूहैश्च विराजितम्
Adorned with groups of trees bearing fully ripe fruits.
निंबानां शाल्मलीनां च तित्तिडीनां च शोभनैः
With beautiful neem, silk-cotton, and tamarind trees.
परितः कल्पवृक्षाणां वृन्दैर्वृन्दैर्विराजितम्
All around, splendid with clusters upon clusters of wish-fulfilling trees.
एतासां च समूहैश्च यूथिकाभिः समन्वितम्
And joined with groups of these trees and with jasmine creepers.
रत्नप्रदीपदीपैश्च धूपेन सुरभीकृतैः
Made fragrant by lamps of jewels and incense.
चंदनाक्तैः पुष्पतल्पैर्मालाजालसमन्वितैः
With flower beds anointed with sandalwood and adorned with garlands.
रत्नालंकारशोभाढयैर्गोपीवृंदैश्च वेष्टितम्
Surrounded by groups of gopīs, radiant with the beauty of jeweled ornaments.
द्वात्रिंशत्काननं तत्र रम्यं रम्यं मनोहरम्
There are thirty-two delightful and enchanting forests.
सुपक्वमधुरस्वादुफलैर्वृंदारकं मुने
O sage, the grove is filled with clusters of trees bearing sweet, fully ripe fruits.
पुष्पोद्यानसहस्रेण पुष्पितेन सुगंधिना
With a thousand blossoming, fragrant flower gardens.
पंचाशत्कोटिगोपीनां विलासैश्च विराजितम्
Resplendent with the playful activities of fifty million gopīs.
गोपानां च समूहैश्च द्वारपालैः समन्वितम्
And joined by groups of cowherds and gatekeepers.
आश्रमै रत्नखचितैर्नानाभोगसमन्वितैः
With hermitages inlaid with jewels, endowed with various enjoyments.
भक्तानां गोपवृन्दानामाश्रमैः शतकोटिभिः
With a hundred million hermitages of the devoted groups of gopas.
आश्रमैः पार्षदानां च ततोऽधिकविलक्षणैः
With hermitages of the attendants, which were even more distinguished and unique,
पार्षदप्रवराणां च श्रीकृष्णरूपधारिणाम्
And with the foremost of attendants who had assumed the forms of Śrī Kṛṣṇa,
राधिकाशुद्धभक्तानां गोपीनामाश्रमैर्वरैः
With the excellent hermitages of the gopīs, who were pure devotees of Rādhikā,
तासां च किकरीणां च भवनैः सुमनोहरैः
And with the most charming houses of those gopīs and their companions,
