जीवन्मुक्तोऽसि पूतस्त्वं शुद्धभक्तो गदाभृतः
You are liberated while living, purified, a pure devotee of the wielder of the mace.
पुनासि लोकान्त्सर्वांश्च स्वीयविग्रहदर्शनात्
You purify all worlds by the sight of your own form.
यत्र कृष्णकथाः संति तत्रैव सर्वदेवताः
Wherever the stories of Krishna are present, there indeed are all the deities.
कथाः श्रुत्वा कथांते ते यांति सन्तो निरापदम्
Having heard the stories, at the end of the narration, the virtuous go forth without danger.
सद्यः कृष्णकथावक्ता स्वस्य पुंसां शतं शतम् 4.1.
One who immediately speaks about Krishna causes a hundredfold benefit for his own people.
प्रष्टा तु प्रश्नमात्रेण पुनाति कुलमात्मनः
But even by merely asking a question, one purifies his own lineage.
शतजन्मतपस्तप्तो जन्मेदं भारते लभेत्
One who has performed austerities for a hundred births attains birth in this land of Bharata.
अर्चनं वंदनं मन्त्रजपः सेवनमेव च
Worship, praise, recitation of mantras, and service—
निवेदनं तस्य दास्यं नवधा भक्तिलक्षणम्
Offering, servitude to Him—these are the nine marks of devotion.
न च विघ्नो भवेत्तस्य परमायुर्न नश्यति
No obstacle arises for him, and his supreme lifespan is not destroyed.
न जहाति समीपं च क्षणं तस्य हरिः स्वयम्
Hari Himself does not leave his side, not even for a moment.
सुदर्शनं भ्रमत्येव तस्य पार्श्वे दिवानिशम्
The Sudarshana disc ever circles at his side, day and night.
व्याधयो विपदः शोका विप्राश्च न प्रयांति तम्
Diseases, calamities, sorrows, and hostile brahmins do not approach him.
ऋषयो मुनयः सिद्धाः सन्तुष्टाः सर्वदेवताः 4.1.
The sages, seers, perfected beings, and all the gods are satisfied.
तव कृष्णकथायां च रतिरात्यंतिकी सदा
And in your Krishna-katha there is always supreme and constant delight.
विप्रेंद्र का प्रशंसेयं जन्म ते ब्रह्ममानसे
O best of brahmins, what praise can be spoken of your birth from the mind of Brahma?
पिता विधाता जगतां कृष्णपादाब्जसेवया
The father, the creator of the worlds, by serving Krishna's lotus feet—
रतिः कृष्णकथायां च यस्याश्रुपुलकोद्गमः
Whose love for Krishna-katha brings forth tears and horripilation—
पुत्रदारादिकं सर्वं जानाति श्रीहरेरिति
He knows all his sons, wives, and others as belonging to Sri Hari.
निर्जने तीर्थसंपर्के निःसंगा ये मुदाऽन्विताः
Those who, in solitude and at holy places, are joyfully detached—
दयाऽस्ति सर्वजीवेषु सर्वं कृष्णम यं जगत्
Who have compassion for all beings, and see the whole world as Krishna—
लब्धानीष्टानि वस्तूनि प्रदातुं हरये मुदा
They joyfully offer to Hari whatever desirable things they have obtained.
यन्मनो हरिपादाब्जे स्वप्ने ज्ञाने दिवानिशम् 4.1.
Whose mind is fixed upon the lotus feet of Hari, in dream, in knowledge, day and night,
गुरुवक्त्राद्विष्णुमंत्रो यस्य कर्णे विशत्यलम्
Into whose ear the mantra of Vishnu enters abundantly from the mouth of the guru,
पूर्वान्त्सप्त परान्त्सप्त सप्त मातामहादिकान्
Seven ancestors before and seven descendants after, including maternal relatives,
कलत्रं कन्यकां बंधुं शिष्यं दौहित्रमात्मनः
Wife, daughter, relatives, disciple, grandson, and one's own self,
सदा वांछति तीर्थानि वैष्णवस्पर्शदर्शने
Always desires holy places and the touch and sight of Vaishnavas,
गोदोहनक्षणं यावद्यत्र तिष्ठंति वैष्णवाः
As long as the time for milking cows lasts, wherever Vaishnavas reside,
ध्रुवं तत्र मृतः पापी मुक्तो याति हरेः पदम्
Certainly, if a sinner dies there, he is liberated and attains the abode of Hari.
तुलसीकानने गोष्ठे श्रीकृष्णमंदिरे परे
In a grove of tulasi, in a cowshed, or in the supreme temple of Shri Krishna,
