वह्नेः प्रिया हि स्वाहा च कुबेरस्य च सुन्दरी
You are Svāhā, beloved of Agni, and the beautiful one of Kubera.
ऐशानी स्याच्छशिकला शतरूपा मनोः प्रिया
You are Aiśānī, the digit of the moon; Śatarūpā, beloved of Manu.
लोपामुद्राऽप्यगस्त्यस्य देवमाताऽदितिस्तथा 3.45.
You are also Lopāmudrā, wife of Agastya, and Aditi, mother of the gods.
गङ्गा च तुलसी चापि पृथिव्यां या सरिद्वरा
You are Gaṅgā and Tulasī, the foremost of rivers on earth.
गृहलक्ष्मी गृहे नॄणां राजलक्ष्मीश्च राजसु
You are the prosperity in the homes of men, and the royal fortune among kings.
सतां सत्त्वस्वरूपा त्वमसतां कलहाङ्कुरा
You are the embodiment of goodness among the virtuous, and the seed of discord among the unrighteous.
सूर्य्ये प्रभास्वरूपा त्वं दाहिका च हुताशने
In the sun, you are the form of radiance; in fire, you are the power of burning.
त्वं भूमौ गन्धरूपा चाप्याकाशे शब्दरूपिणी
On earth, you are the essence of fragrance, and in space, you are the form of sound.
सर्वबीजस्वरूपा त्वं संसारे साररूपिणी
You are the essence of all seeds, and in the world, you are the embodiment of substance.
कृष्णेन विद्या या दत्ता सर्वज्ञान प्रसूः शुभा
The knowledge given by Krishna is auspicious, the source of all wisdom.
सृष्टिपालनसंहारशक्तयस्त्रिविधाश्च याः
The powers of creation, preservation, and destruction are threefold.
मधुकैटभभीत्या च त्रस्तो धाता प्रकम्पितः
Out of fear of Madhu and Kaitabha, the creator was shaken.
मधुकैटभयोर्युद्धे त्राताऽसौ विष्णुरीश्वरीम् 3.45.
In the battle with Madhu and Kaitabha, Vishnu protected the goddess.
त्रिपुरस्य महायुद्धे सरथे पतिते शिवे
In the great war of Tripura, when Shiva fell from his chariot,
विष्णुना वृषरूपेण स्वयं शम्भुः समुत्थितः
Vishnu, taking the form of a bull, himself raised Shambhu.
यदाज्ञया वाति वातः सूर्यस्तपति सन्ततम्
By whose command the wind blows and the sun shines continually.
यदाज्ञया हि कालश्च शश्वद्भ्रमति वेगतः
By whose command time always moves swiftly.
स्रष्टा सृजति सृष्टिं च पाता पाति यदाज्ञया
By whose command the creator creates, and the protector preserves creation.
ज्योतिस्स्वरूपो भगवाञ्छ्रीकृष्णो निर्गुणः स्वयम्
The blessed Krishna is himself the form of light, beyond all qualities.
रक्ष रक्ष जगन्मातरपराधं क्षमस्व मे
Protect, protect, O Mother of the world; forgive my offense.
उक्त्वा परशुरामश्चेति नत्वा तां रुरोद ह
Having spoken thus, Parashurama bowed to her and wept.
अमरो भव हे पुत्र वत्स सुस्थिरतां व्रज
Become immortal, O son; dear one, attain firm stability.
सर्वान्तरात्मा भगवांस्तुष्टस्स्यात्सन्ततं हरिः 3.45.
The blessed Hari, the inner soul of all, is always pleased.
इष्टदेवे गुरौ यस्य भक्तिर्भवति शाश्वती
He whose devotion to the chosen deity and to the guru is eternal.
श्रीकृष्णस्य च भक्तस्त्वं शिष्यो वै शंकरस्य च
You are a devotee of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and indeed a disciple of Śaṃkara.
अहो न कृष्णभक्तानामशुभं विद्यते क्वचित्
Truly, there is never any misfortune for the devotees of Kṛṣṇa.
चन्द्रमा बलवांस्तुष्टो येषां भाग्यवतां भृगो
O Bhṛgu, for those fortunate ones whom the Moon is pleased with, he becomes powerful.
यस्मै तुष्टः पालयति नरदेवो महान्सुखी
The great king, when pleased with someone, protects him and grants great happiness.
इत्युक्त्वा पार्वती तुष्टा दत्त्वा रामाय चाशिषम्
Having spoken thus, Pārvatī, being pleased, bestowed a blessing upon Rāma.
स्तोत्रं वै काण्वशाखोक्तं पूजाकाले च यः पठेत्
Whoever recites this hymn, as spoken in the Kāṇva branch, at the time of worship—
