तृणानां कुशरूपो यो व्याधिरूपश्च वैरिणाम्
He who is the form of kuśa grass among grasses, and disease among enemies,
तेजोरूपो ज्ञानरूपः सर्वरूपश्च यो महान्
He who is the form of brilliance, the form of knowledge, and the great one who is all forms,
सर्वाधारेषु यो वायुर्यथाऽऽत्मा नित्यरूपिणाम् 3.32.
He who is air among all that supports, just as the self among those of eternal form,
वेदानिर्वचनीयं यन्न स्तोतुं पण्डितः क्षमः
That which cannot be defined by the Vedas, which no scholar is able to praise,
वेदा न शक्ता यं स्तोतुं जडीभूता सरस्वती
Whom the Vedas are not able to praise, and Sarasvatī herself becomes speechless,
शुद्धतेजस्स्वरूपं च भक्तानुग्रहविग्रहम्
Who is of pure radiant form, the embodiment of grace to devotees,
द्विभुजं मुरलीवक्त्रं किशोरं सस्मितं मुदा
The two-armed youth, with a flute at his lips, smiling joyfully,
राधया दत्तताम्बूलं भुक्तवन्तं मनोहरम्
Who, having received betel from Rādhā, has eaten it, enchanting to behold,
रत्नभूषणभूषाढ्यं सेवितं श्वेतचामरैः
Adorned with jeweled ornaments, served with white chowries,
वृन्दावनान्तरे रम्ये रासोल्लाससमुत्सुकम्
In the beautiful interior of Vṛndāvana, eager for the delight of the rāsa dance,
शतशृङ्गे महाशैले गोलोके रत्नपर्वते
On the great mountain with a hundred peaks, on the jeweled mountain in Goloka,
परिपूर्णतमं शान्तं राधाकान्तं मनोहरम्
There abides the most complete, peaceful, and enchanting Radhakanta.
श्रीकृष्णस्य स्तोत्रमिदं त्रिसन्ध्यं यः पठेन्नरः 3.32.
Whoever recites this hymn to Shri Krishna at the three junctions of the day,
हरिदास्यं हरौ भक्तिं लभेत्स्तोत्रप्रसादतः
By the grace of this hymn, attains the service of Hari and devotion to the Lord.
सर्वसिद्धेश्वरः शान्तोऽप्यन्ते याति हरेः पदम्
Even the lord of all accomplishments, though tranquil, ultimately attains the abode of Hari.
जीवन्मुक्तः कृष्णभक्तः स भवेन्नात्र संशयः
He becomes liberated while living, a devotee of Krishna—of this there is no doubt.
षडभिज्ञो दशबलो मनोयायी भवेद्ध्रुवम् कल्पवृक्षसमः शश्वद्भवेत्कृष्णप्रसादतः
He surely becomes one who knows the six branches of knowledge, possesses ten strengths, and moves by will; by Krishna's grace, he is ever like the wish-fulfilling tree.
इत्येवं कथितं स्तोत्रं वत्स त्वं गच्छ पुष्करम्
Thus this hymn has been spoken; O child, now you go to Pushkara.
त्रिस्सप्तकृत्वो निर्भूपां कुरु पृथ्वीं यथासुखम्
Make the earth free of kings three times seven, as you wish.
नारायण उवाच गत्वा पुष्करतीर्थ च मन्त्रसिद्धिं चकार ह
Narāyaṇa said: Having gone to the holy place of Pushkara, he accomplished the perfection of the mantra.
स बभूव निराहारो मासं भक्तिसमन्वितः
He remained without food for a month, filled with devotion.
ददर्श चक्षुरुन्मील्य गगनं तेजसा वृतम्
Opening his eyes, he saw the sky enveloped in radiance.
तेजोमण्डलमध्यस्थं रत्नयानं ददर्श ह
He saw, in the center of the radiant circle, a chariot made of jewels.
ईषद्धास्यप्रसन्नास्यं भक्तानुग्रहकारकम्
He saw a face slightly smiling, gracious, bestowing favor upon devotees.
त्रिस्सप्तकृत्वो निर्भूपां करिष्यामि महीमिति
I will make the earth free of kings three times seven, indeed.
दास्यं सुदुर्ल्लभं शश्ववत्पादाब्जे च देहि मे
Grant me the exceedingly rare and eternal service at your lotus feet.
भृगुः प्रणम्य भवनं तज्जगाम परात्परम्
Bhrigu, having bowed, went to that supreme abode.
वाञ्छा प्रतीतिजननं सुस्वप्नं च ददर्श ह भाष्य स्वजनं सर्वं गृहे तस्थौ मुदाऽन्वितः
He saw a dream fulfilling his desires and bringing joy, and, having spoken with all his kinsmen, remained at home, filled with happiness.
स्वशिष्यान्पितृशिष्यांश्च भ्रातृवर्गांश्च बान्धवान् 3.33.
He addressed his own disciples, the disciples of his father, his brothers, and his relatives.
पौर्वापर्य्यं स्ववृत्तान्तं तानेवोक्त्वा शुभक्षणे
At an auspicious moment, he recounted to them his past and present affairs in order.
