दृष्ट्वा मुक्तं स्वपुत्रं च प्रहष्टोऽभूत्प्रजापतिः
Seeing his own son liberated, the Lord of creatures became exceedingly joyful.
यतः स्वयम्भुपुत्रोऽयमतः स्वायम्भुवो मनुः
Because he is the son of Svayambhū, he is therefore called Svāyambhuva Manu.
राजा वदान्यो धर्मिष्ठः स्वायम्भुवसमो महान्
A king generous and righteous, great and equal to Svāyambhuva.
तौ तृतीयौ चतुर्थौ च वैष्णवौ तापसोत्तमौ

चतुर्दशो महाज्ञानी चन्द्रसावर्णिरेव च
The fourteenth, Candrasavarni, is a great sage and knower.

After the passing of Brahma's night, the Creator again produced creation.
देवाश्च मनवश्चैव तत्र दग्धा नरादयः

वर्षं द्वादशमासैश्च ब्रह्मसम्बन्धि चैव हि दैनंदिनस्तु प्रलयो वेदेषु परिकीर्त्तितः
A year, consisting of twelve months, is related to Brahma; the daily dissolution is described in the Vedas.
मोहरात्रिश्च सा प्रोक्ता वेदविद्भिः पुरातनैः

आदित्या वसवो रुद्रा मनवो मानवादयः
The Adityas, Vasus, Rudras, Manus, and their descendants.

The mother of the gods, Savitri, the Vedas, Dharma, and others likewise.
नारायणे प्रलीनाश्च विश्वस्था वैष्णवास्तथा
Those established in the world, as well as the Vaiṣṇavas, are dissolved into Nārāyaṇa.
मृत्युञ्जये महादेवे प्रलीनः स तमो गुणः
The quality of darkness is dissolved into Mṛtyuñjaya, the great god.
नारायणस्य शम्भोश्च महाविष्णोश्च निश्चितम्
Certainly, Nārāyaṇa, Śambhu, and Mahāviṣṇu are one.
कृष्णो निमेषरहितो निर्गुणः प्रकृते परः
Kṛṣṇa is beyond the blink of an eye, without qualities, and transcends nature.
निर्गुणस्य च नित्यस्य चाद्यन्तरहितस्य च
Of the one who is without qualities, eternal, and free from beginning and end,
षष्टिदण्डात्मिकास्तस्या वासरश्च प्रकीर्त्तितः
Her day is said to consist of sixty daṇḍas.
