भूषणैर्भूषिताभिश्च महारत्नविनिर्मितैः
Adorned with ornaments crafted from great jewels.
प्राणाधिकप्रियतमाराधावक्षःस्थलस्थितम् परिपूर्णतमं रासे ददृशुः सर्वतः सुराः ।। 2.11.
Most beloved, dearer than life, worshipped, resting upon the chest of his devotee; the gods beheld him, utterly complete, in the Rasa from every direction.
मुनयो मानवाः सिद्धास्तपसा च तपस्विनः
Sages, humans, perfected beings, and ascetics through their austerities.
परस्परं समालोच्य ते तमूचुश्चतुर्मुखम्
After conferring among themselves, they spoke to the four-faced one.
ब्रह्मा तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा स्थितं विष्णोस्तु दक्षिणे
Brahma, hearing those words, stood at the right side of Vishnu.
परमानन्दयुक्तं च परमानन्दरूपकम्
Filled with supreme bliss, and possessing the form of supreme bliss.
सर्वं समानवेषं च सभानासनसंस्थितम्
All with similar attire, seated in the assembly.
द्विभुजं मुरलीहस्तं वनमालाविभूषितम्
Two-armed, holding a flute, adorned with a garland of forest flowers.
अतीव कमनीयं च सुन्दरं शान्तविग्रहम्
Extremely enchanting, beautiful, with a peaceful form.
वाससा यशसाऽऽकृत्या मूर्त्या सुन्दरया समम्
Equal in clothing, fame, appearance, and beautiful form.
कः सेव्यस्सेवको वेति दृष्ट्वा निर्वक्तुमक्षमः
Who is to be served and who is the servant? Seeing this, one is unable to declare.
एकमेव क्षणं कृष्णं राधया सहितं परम् 2.11.
Even a single moment with Krishna, together with Radha, is supreme.
राधारूपधरं कृष्णं कृष्णरूपकलत्रकम्
Krishna, taking the form of Radha, and Radha appearing as Krishna's consort.
हृत्पद्मस्थं च श्रीकृष्णं धाता ध्यानेन चेतसा
The creator, with concentrated mind, meditated upon Shri Krishna dwelling in the lotus of the heart.
ततः स चक्षुरुन्मील्य पुनश्च तदनुज्ञया
Then, opening his eyes, and again by their permission,
स्वपार्षदैः परिवृतं गोपीमण्डलमण्डितम्
He saw Krishna surrounded by his own attendants, adorned by the circle of gopis.
विज्ञाय तदभिप्रायं तानुवाच सुरेश्वरः
Understanding their intention, the lord of the gods spoke to them.
श्रीभगवानुवाच इहागच्छ महादेव शश्वत्कुशलमस्तु वः
Shri Bhagavan said: Come here, Mahadeva; may everlasting welfare be yours.
आगताः स्थ महाभागा गङ्गानयनकारणात्
You have arrived, O greatly fortunate ones, for the purpose of bringing Ganga.
राधेमां पातुमिच्छन्ती दृष्ट्वा मत्सन्निधानतः
Radha desires to drink her, having seen her in my presence.
श्रीकृष्णस्य वचः श्रुत्वा सस्मितः कमलोद्भवः
Hearing the words of Shri Krishna, the lotus-born smiled.
धाता चतुर्णां वेदानामुवाच चतुराननः ।। 2.11.
The creator, four-faced, spoke of the four Vedas.
गङ्गा त्वदङ्गसम्भूता प्रभोर्वै रासमण्डले
Ganga, born from your limb, O Lord, in the circle of the rasa dance.
कृष्णांशा च त्वदंशा च त्वत्कन्यासदृशी प्रिया
She is a portion of Krishna and a portion of you, beloved like your own daughter.
भविष्यति पतिस्तस्या वैकुण्ठे च चतुर्भुजः
Her husband will be the four-armed one in Vaikuntha.
गोलोकस्था च या राधा सर्वत्रस्था तथात्मिका
Radha, who dwells in Goloka, is also present everywhere as the very self.
ब्रह्मणो वचनं श्रुत्वा स्वीचकार च सस्मिता
Hearing the words of Brahma, she accepted them with a smile.
तत्रैव संवृता शान्ता तस्थौ तेषां च मध्यतः
There itself, she remained, peaceful, standing in the midst of them.
तत्तोयं ब्रह्मणा किञ्चित्स्थापितं च कमण्डलौ
Then a little of that water was placed by Brahmā into the water pot.
गङ्गायै राधिकामन्त्रं प्रददौ कमलोद्भवः
The lotus-born one gave to Gaṅgā the mantra of Rādhikā.
