बलीवर्दाः सुरभ्यश्च वत्सा नानाविधाः शुभाः
Strong bulls, surabhi cows, and calves of various kinds, all auspicious, arose.
तेषामेकं बलीवर्दं कोटिसिंहसमं बले
Among them, one bull possessed strength equal to a million lions.
कृष्णांघ्रिनखरन्धेभ्यो हंसपङ्क्तिर्मनोहरा
From the nails of Krishna's feet arose a delightful line of swans.
तेषामेकं राजहंसं महाबलपराक्रमम्
Among them, one royal swan possessed great strength and valor.
वामकर्णस्य विवरात्कृष्णस्य परमात्मनः
From the opening of Krishna, the Supreme Soul's left ear,
तेषामेकं च श्वेताश्वं धर्मार्थं वाहनाय च 1.5.
Among them, one white horse was given for the purpose of upholding righteousness and as a vehicle.
दक्षकर्णस्य विवरात्पुंसश्च सुरसंसदि
From the opening of the right ear, in the assembly of the gods,
तेषामेकं ददौ कृष्णः प्रकृत्यै परमादरम्
Krishna gave one of them to Prakriti with the highest honor.
कृष्णो योगेन योगीन्द्रश्चकार रथपञ्चकम्
Krishna, the lord of yogis, by his yogic power created five chariots.
लक्षयोजनमूर्ध्वे च प्रस्थे च शतयोजनम्
Each was a hundred thousand yojanas high and ten thousand yojanas in length.
शृङ्गारार्हं भोगवस्तुतल्पासंख्यसमन्वितम्
They were fit for enjoyment and pleasure, furnished with countless luxurious couches.
नानाचित्रविचित्राढथं सद्रत्नकलशोज्ज्वलम्
Adorned with various marvelous designs and shining with vessels of excellent jewels.
वह्निशुद्धांशुकैश्चित्रैर्मुक्ताजालैर्विभूषितम्
Decorated with garments purified by fire, and with nets of pearls of diverse beauty.
आरक्तवर्णरत्नेन्द्रसारनिर्माणकृत्रिमैः
Constructed with the essence of supreme red-hued gems, skillfully fashioned.
ददौ नारायणायैकं तेषां मध्ये द्विजोत्तमः
Among them, O best of twice-born, one was given by Krishna to Narayana.
आविर्बभूव कृष्णस्य गुह्यदेशात्ततः परम् 1.5.
Then, from Krishna's secret region, another wondrous being appeared.
आविर्भूता यतो गुह्यात्तेन ते गुह्यकाः स्मृताः
Because they manifested from the secret, they are known as Guhyakas.
बभूव कन्यका चैका कुबेरे वामपार्श्वतः
A maiden also appeared at Kubera's left side.
भूतप्रेतपिशाचाश्च कूष्माण्डब्रह्मराक्षसाः
Spirits, ghosts, and fiends, as well as goblins and Brahma-rakshasas,
शङ्खचक्रगदापद्मधारिणो वनमालिनः
Those who bear the conch, discus, mace, and lotus, adorned with forest garlands,
किरीटिनः कुण्डलिनो रत्नभूषणभूषिताः
They were adorned with crowns, earrings, and jeweled ornaments.
चतुर्भुजान्पार्षदांश्च ददौ नारायणाय च
He gave four-armed attendants also to Nārāyaṇa.
द्विभुजाः श्यामवर्णाश्च जपमालाकरा वराः
There were two-armed, dark-complexioned, excellent ones holding rosaries.
दास्यो नियुक्ता दसाश्चैवार्घ्यमादाय यत्नतः
Ten maidservants were appointed, who carefully brought offerings.
पुलकाङ्कितसर्वाङ्गाः साश्रुनेत्राः सगद्गदा
Their bodies were covered with goosebumps, their eyes filled with tears, their voices trembling.
आविर्बभूवुः कृष्णस्य दक्षनेत्राद्भयङ्कराः 1.5.
From Kṛṣṇa's right eye appeared terrifying beings.
दिगम्बरा महाकाया ज्वलदग्निशिखोपमाः
Naked, of great size, resembling blazing tongues of fire.
रुरुसंहारकालाख्या असितक्रोधभीषणाः
Named Ruru, Saṃhāra, and Kāla, fierce with dark wrath.
आविर्बभूव कृष्णस्य वामनेत्राद्भयङ्करः
From Kṛṣṇa's left eye appeared a terrifying being.
दिगम्बरो महाकायस्त्रिणेत्रश्चन्द्रशेखरः
Naked, of great size, three-eyed, bearing the moon on his head.
