प्राणाधिके महादेवि स्थिरा भव भयं त्यज
O great goddess, dearest one, remain steady and abandon fear.
किं तु ते कथयिष्यामि किंचिदेवास्त्यमंगलम्
But I shall tell you—there is something inauspicious.
श्रीदामशापजन्येन कर्मभोगेन सुन्दरि
O beautiful one, by the enjoyment of karma arising from the curse of Śrīdāma—
तत्र भारावतरणं पित्रोर्बंधनमोचनम्
There, the alleviation of the earth’s burden and the liberation of my parents from bondage—
घातयित्वा च यवनं मुचुकुन्दस्य मोक्षणम्
And after slaying the Yavana, the deliverance of Mucukunda—
उद्वाहं राजकन्यानां सहस्राणां च षोडश
The marriage to sixteen thousand royal maidens—
मित्रोपकरणं चैव वाराणस्याश्च दाहनम्
The assistance to friends and the burning of Vārāṇasī—
पारिजातस्य हरणं यद्यत्कर्माणि तानि च
The taking of the Pārijāta tree, and whatever other deeds there are—
संभाषणं च बंधूनां यज्ञसंपादनं पितुः करिष्यामि च तत्रैव गोपिकानां च दर्शनम्
Conversations with relatives, the completion of my father’s sacrifice, and there itself, the meeting with the Gopīs—
तुभ्यमाध्यात्मिकं दत्त्वा पुनः सत्यं त्वया सह 4.6.
Having given you spiritual knowledge, again, truly, together with you—
भविष्यति त्वया सार्द्धं पुनरागमनं व्रजे
There will be a return to Vraja together with you—
नित्यं संमीलन स्वप्ने भविष्यति त्वया सह
There will always be union with you in dreams—
शतवर्षांतरे साध्यमेतदेव सुनिश्चितम्
After a hundred years, this will certainly be accomplished—
पुनः पित्रोश्च गोपीनां शोकसंमार्जनं परम्
Again, the supreme removal of the sorrow of my parents and the Gopīs—
त्वया सहापि गोलोकं गोपैर्गोपीभिरेव च
Together with you, to Goloka, with the Gopas and Gopīs—
वैकुंठगमनं राधे नित्यस्य परमात्मनः
The going to Vaikuṇṭha, O Rādhā, of the eternal Supreme Self—
देवानां चैव देवीनामंशा यास्यंति स्वक्षयम्
The portions of the gods and goddesses will return to their own abodes—
इत्येवं कथितं सर्वं भविष्यं च शुभाशुभम्
Thus, all that is auspicious and inauspicious to come has been spoken—
इत्येवमुक्त्वा श्रीकृष्णः कृत्वा राधां स्ववक्षसि
Having thus spoken, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, embracing Rādhā to his chest—
उवाच श्रीहरिर्देवान्देवीं च समयोचितम् 4.6.
Śrī Hari addressed the gods and goddesses according to the occasion.
गच्छ पार्वति कैलासं सुताभ्यां स्वामि ना सह
Go, Pārvatī, to Kailāsa with your two daughters, but not with your husband.
भविता कलया जन्म सर्वेषां च व्रजेश्वरि
There will be a birth by a portion, O Queen of Vraja, for all.
प्रणम्य श्रीहरिं देवाः स्वालयं प्रययुर्मुदा
Having bowed to Śrī Hari, the gods joyfully returned to their own abodes.
हरिणा योजितं कर्म कर्तुं व्यग्रा महीं ययुः
Eager to perform the task assigned by Hari, they went to the earth.
उवाच राधिकां कृष्णो वृषभानुगृहं व्रज
Kṛṣṇa spoke to Rādhikā: 'Go to the house of Vṛṣabhānu in Vraja.'
अहं यास्यामि मथुरां वसुदेवालयं प्रिये
'Dearest, I will go to Mathurā, to the house of Vasudeva.'
राधा प्रणम्य श्रीकृष्णं रक्तपंकजलोचना
Rādhā, her eyes reddened like lotus-petals, bowed to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
स्थायंस्थायं क्वचिद्यांती गत्वागत्वा पुनः पुनः
Pausing again and again as she went, she approached and withdrew repeatedly.
पपौ चक्षुश्चकोराभ्यां निमेषरहिता सती
She drank him in with her eyes, unblinking, like a cakora bird.
ततः प्रदक्षिणीकृत्य सप्तधा परमेश्वरी 4.6.
Then the supreme goddess circumambulated him seven times.
