भूषितं भूषणै रम्यैस्तद्रूपेणैव भूषितैः
Adorned with beautiful ornaments, each suited perfectly to her form,
प्रसन्नेक्षणपश्यंतं भक्तानुग्रहकातरम्
Her serene eyes gazing with compassion, eager to bestow grace upon devotees,
कौस्तुभासक्तसद्रत्नप्रदीप्ततेजसोज्ज्वलम्
Brilliant with the radiance of the Kaustubha gem, shining with splendid light,
पश्यंतं सस्मितं कांतं पश्यंतीं वक्रचक्षुषा
Beholding her, smiling and lovely, as she gazes with sidelong glances,
ईषद्धास्यप्रसन्नास्यां शरत्पंकजलोचनाम्
Her face slightly smiling and serene, her eyes like autumn lotuses,
बंधुजीवप्रभामुष्टाधरौष्ठरु चिराननाम् 4.6.
Her lips and face radiant as the hue of the bandhujiva flower,
मणींद्राणां प्रभामोषनखराजिविराजिताम्
Her form adorned by the brilliance of the foremost jewels and the king of gems,
अमूल्यरत्नसाराणां रशनाश्रोणिभूषिताम्
Her hips adorned with a girdle made of the essence of priceless gems,
महामणींद्रसाराणां किङ्किणीमध्यसंयुताम्
With a waistband of great jewels, set with tinkling bells at the center,
रत्नेंद्रसाररचितकपोलोज्ज्वलकुण्डलाम्
Her cheeks shining with earrings crafted from the finest gems,
खगेंद्रचंचुनासाग्र गजेंद्रमौक्तिकान्विताम्
Her nose-tip adorned with a bird-king's beak-shaped ornament and an elephant-pearl,
मालया कौस्तुभेंद्राणां वक्षःस्थलसुशोभिताम्
Her chest beautifully decorated with a garland of Kaustubha gems,
रत्नांगुलीय निकरैः करांगुलिविभूषिताम्
Her fingers adorned with rows of jeweled rings,
सूक्ष्मसूत्राकृतै रम्यैर्भूषिता शंखभूषणैः
Adorned with lovely conch ornaments, strung on fine threads,
प्रतप्तस्वर्णवर्णाभामाच्छाद्य चारुविग्रहाम्
Her charming form covered in garments shining like molten gold,
भूषितां भूषणैः सर्वैः सौंदर्येण विभूषितैः तुष्टुवुस्ते सुराः सर्वे पूर्णसर्वमनोरथाः।।4.6.
Adorned with all ornaments, embellished with beauty, all the gods praised her, their every wish fulfilled.
तव चरणसरोजे मन्मनश्चंचरीको भ्रमतु सततमीश प्रेमभक्त्या सरोजे
Let my mind, like a bee, ever wander in the lotus of Your feet, O Lord, with love and devotion.
विषयमतिविनिंद्यं सृष्टिसंहाररूपमपनय तव भक्तिं देहि पादारविंदे
Rejecting all objects of sense, which are the forms of creation and dissolution, grant me devotion at Your lotus feet.
तव निजजनसार्द्धं संगमो मे मदीश भवतु विषयबंधच्छेदने तीक्ष्णखङ्गः। तव चरणसरोजे स्थानदानैकहेतुर्जनुषि जनुषि भक्तिं देहि पादारविन्दे
May I have union with Your own people, O my Lord; let the sharp sword of detachment sever the bonds of worldly ties. Grant me devotion at Your lotus feet in every birth, for the sole purpose of attaining a place at Your lotus feet.
इत्येवं स्तवनं कृत्वा परिपूर्णैकसानसाः
Thus, having made this prayer, they were completely satisfied.
सुराणां स्तवनं श्रुत्वा तानु वाच कृपानिधिः
Hearing the prayer of the gods, the ocean of mercy spoke to them.
शिवाश्रयाणां कुशलं प्रष्टुं युक्तं न सांप्रतम्
It is not appropriate now to inquire about the welfare of those who are under Shiva's protection.
निश्चिंता भवतात्रैव का चिंता वो मयि स्थिते
Here, you need not worry; what concern can you have when I am present?
युष्माकं यमभिप्रायं सर्वं जानामि निश्चितम्
I know with certainty all your intentions.
महत्क्षुद्रं च यत्कर्म सर्वं कालकृतं सुराः
Whatever great or small actions there are, O gods, all are accomplished by time.
परिपक्वफलाः काले काले पक्वफलान्विताः 4.6.
At the proper time, ripe fruits appear; at each time, there are fruits that have ripened.
स्वकर्मफलनिष्ठं च सर्वकालेऽप्युपस्थितम्
The result of one's own actions is always present at all times.
काले कार्यवशात्सर्वे भवंत्येवाप्रियाः प्रियाः
At the proper time, due to circumstances, all become either dear or not dear.
स्वकर्मफलपाकेन सर्वे कालवशं गताः
By the ripening of the fruits of one's own actions, all are subject to the power of time.
पृथिव्यां तत्क्षणेनैव सप्तमन्वतरं गतम्
At that very moment on earth, the seventh Manu era had passed.
