कैवल्यमपि गोपीनां प्रोक्तं नानाविधं मुने । पुनरागमनं चैव पुण्यं वृन्दावनं वनम्
The various kinds of liberation of the gopīs have been recounted, O sage, as well as their return to the holy forest of Vṛndāvana.
श्रीकृष्णदर्शनं चैव गोपीनां हर्षवर्थनम् । नानाप्रकारक्रीडा च प्रोक्ता तस्य जले स्थले
The vision of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, which brought joy to the gopīs, and the various kinds of sports performed by him on water and land have been described.
गोपीनामपि सौभाग्यं राधायाश्च विशेषतः । प्रोक्तं व्यासेन सौन्दर्य रम्यं रम्यं नवं नवम्
The good fortune of the gopīs, and especially of Rādhā, has been described by Vyāsa, their beauty charming and ever new.
नभःस्थितानां देवानां दर्शनं प्रोक्तमेव च । मनसः स्खलनं चैव देवीनां रासमण्डले
The vision of the gods standing in the sky has been described, as well as the agitation of mind of the goddesses in the circle of the rāsa dance.
अंशेन लेभिरे जन्म देव्यश्चोक्तमिदं द्विज । अक्रूरागमनं चैव गोपीनां च विलापनम्
It has been told, O twice-born, that the goddesses took birth in part, and also the coming of Akrūra and the lamentation of the gopīs.
प्रोक्तं सर्वं क्रमेगैव चाक्रूरभर्त्सनं तथा । मथुरागमनं विष्णोः शोकं गोकुलवासिनाम्
All this has been narrated in order, as well as the reproach of Akrūra, the journey of Viṣṇu to Mathurā, and the sorrow of the residents of Gokula.
राधिकाविरहज्वालाजालं प्रोक्तं यथोचितम् । स्वमूल्तिदर्शनं चैवमक्रूरं यमुनातटे
The intense fire of separation felt by Rādhikā has been described as appropriate, as well as the vision of his own form by Akrūra on the bank of the Yamunā.
मथुरावेशनं प्रोक्तं निधनं रजकस्य च । कुब्जया सह संभोगस्तस्या मोक्षणमेव च
The entry into Mathurā has been described, as well as the death of the washerman, the enjoyment with Kubjā, and her liberation.
प्रसादनं कुविन्दस्य मालाकारस्य मोक्षणम् । धनुधो भञ्जनं शंभोर्हस्तिनो निधनं तथा

The proper consecration ceremony for him, his enthronement as king according to the prescribed rites, the mourning of Nanda, and a most wonderful hymn of praise—
प्रोक्तस्तयोश्च संवादो निर्जने तातपुत्रयोः । परमाध्यात्मिकं ज्ञानं नन्दाय च ददौ विभुः
—the conversation between the father and son in solitude, the Supreme Lord imparting the highest spiritual knowledge to Nanda—

—the departure of the sages, the narration of the blessed story, and the exceedingly rare teachings spoken by the boy—
उद्धवागमनं प्रोक्तं राधास्थानं च निर्जनम् । ज्ञानं तयोश्च संवादे प्रोक्तमेव शुभावहम्
—the coming of Uddhava, the secluded abode of Radha, and the auspicious knowledge spoken in their conversation—
यज्ञोपवीतं कृष्णस्य विद्यादानं गृरोर्गृहे । मृतपुत्रप्रदानं च प्रोक्तं तद्गुरवे पुरा

धर्मपुत्रराजसूये शिशुपालस्य मोक्षणम् । दन्तवक्त्रस्य च मुनेः शाल्वस्य निधनं तथा

मणेश्च हरणं चैव पारिजातस्य स्वर्गतः । कुरुपाण्डवयुद्धे च भुवश्च भारमोक्षणम्

विवाहो नारदस्यैवोत्पत्तिर्वह्निसुवर्णयोः । प्रोक्तं सर्व महाभाग पुनरेव समासतः
—the marriage of Narada, the origin of fire and gold, all this, O most fortunate one, has again been told in summary—
चतुःखण्डैः पुराणं च ब्रह्मवैवर्तमेव च । अतः परं मुनिश्रेष्ठ किं भूयः श्रातुमिच्छसि
—the Purana in four sections, and the Brahmavaivarta itself; therefore, O best of sages, what more do you wish to hear?
इति श्रीब्रह्मo महाo श्रीकृष्णजन्मखo उत्तo नारदनाo अनुक्रमणिकं नाम द्वात्रिंशदधिकशततमोऽध्यायः
Thus ends the one hundred thirty-second chapter, named 'The Table of Contents of the Narada Section,' in the Sri Brahma-vaivarta Mahapurana, Krishna-janma-khanda.
अथ त्रयस्त्रिंशदधिकशततमोऽध्यायः शौनक उवाच अध्य मे सफलं जन्म चीवितं च सुजीवितम् । यत्फलं ब्रह्मवैवर्ते निर्विघ्नं मोक्षकारणम्
Śaunaka said: Now my birth has become fruitful, and my life has been well-lived, for I have attained the result of the Brahma-vaivarta Purāṇa, which is the cause of liberation, free from obstacles.
अभयं देहि हे वत्स हे तात मह्यमेव च । तदा निवेदनं किंचिदस्तीति च करोम्यहम्
Grant me fearlessness, O child, O dear one, to me as well; then I will make a certain request.
