As she was wearied from the great union, a breath arose.
That exhaled breath became the support of all.
From the left side of the embodied wind arose the beloved of life.
Prāṇa, apāna, samāna, udāna, and vyāna came forth.
From the sweat and water, the great god Varuṇa was born.
Then that Kṛṣṇa-śakti indeed bore a child from Kṛṣṇa.
She, the goddess presiding over Kṛṣṇa's very life, was dearer to him than his own life.
After a hundred Manvantaras had passed, at that time, the supremely beautiful one—
Seeing the egg, the goddess was deeply afflicted in her heart.
Seeing that abandonment, Kṛṣṇa cried out in lamentation.
Because you, harsh and wrathful one, have abandoned your offspring—
Whatever goddesses will be born as your portions—
Meanwhile, the goddess suddenly emerged from the tip of the tongue.
Clad in yellow garments, holding a vīṇā and a book,
Then, after some time, she assumed a dual form.
At that moment, Kṛṣṇa also became twofold in form.
Śrī Kṛṣṇa said to Vāṇī, 'You become his beloved.'
Thus, pleased, he gave Lakṣmī to Nārāyaṇa.
And because you are childless, two will arise from the portion of Rādhā.
In brilliance, age, beauty, and qualities, they are equal to Hari.
Then, O sage, from the pore of the Lord of Goloka—
By form, by virtue, by attire, or by valor,
From the pores of Rādhā's body arose the cowherd maidens.
Adorned with jeweled ornaments, they possessed ever-firm and youthful beauty.
Meanwhile, O Brahmin, suddenly from Kṛṣṇa's body—
The goddess Nārāyaṇī, sovereign, embodiment of all powers,
Seed-form of all goddesses, the primal nature, the supreme Lady,
With the radiance of molten gold, shining like ten million suns,
Bearing many kinds of weapons and missiles, she was three-eyed.
By whose portions and sub-portions all women came into being,
