Righteous acts in the form of sacrifices, vows, fasting, austerities, various gifts, and worship of Brahmins and gods—

Among ten million Indras and more than eight hundred, in the reigns of Brahma, the reign of Madhava lasts but a moment.

That knowledge is not of speech nor of essence rooted in objects; it is not attained by the ignorant, therefore meditation is always necessary.

At the dissolution, when Brahmā falls, so too does Lomaśa, the guardians of the directions, the planets, and those of long life.
At that time, the same fate befalls other gods and the sages of pure celibacy; so too is the lifespan of the Rudras, except for me, the Conqueror of Death.
