शुद्धसत्त्वस्वरूपा या सुशीला श्रीहरिप्रिया
She is of pure essence, virtuous, and beloved of Śrī Hari.

She is the power composed of Brahmanic radiance, the presiding deity over that.
देवी चतुर्थी कथिता पञ्चमीं वर्णयामि ते

प्राणाधिकप्रियतमा सर्वाद्या सुन्दरी वरा

यत्पादपद्मसंस्पर्शपवित्रा च वसुन्धरा
The earth is sanctified by the touch of her lotus feet.
स्त्रीरत्नसारसंभूता कृष्णवक्षः स्थलस्थिता
