Then, the ninety-fifth chapter. Nārāyaṇa said: Hearing Uddhava's words, Rādhikā regained consciousness, and rising, she spoke while seated on the excellent jeweled throne.
The goddess spoke sweetly, though her heart was afflicted, attended by seven gopīs serving with white chowries.
Rādhikā said: Go to Mathurā, dear one, and do not forget me—keep in touch. There is no greater unrighteousness for you in this ocean of existence.
Go now and tell all my words to Śrī Krishna, the Supreme Bliss; quickly bring my Lord to me.
Having obtained such a husband in a woman's birth among women, who else but me has experienced such separation or is as sorrowful?
Why do you give me instruction? I am not fit for awakening; the body of the embodied is useless without the Self, O Uddhava.
With joyful affection, there is fortune, honor, ever-fresh and new; exceedingly rare is love, its secret, and the thrill of new union.
I remember him always in my mind; no other dwells within my heart. At night, forsaking sleep, remembrance only increases my sorrow.
Lift me up, dear child, for I am sunk in the ocean of grief; by granting life and existence, one attains the fruit of bathing at holy places among men.
I am unable to awaken myself, and my mind cannot be restrained; I contemplate the lotus feet of Krishna, the Supreme Soul.
His virtues, his greatness, his affection, and the ocean of his love—remembering again and again this good fortune, my mind is unsteady and restless.
Among all the young women of the world, whose sorrow is like this? Who knows the pain of separation from Shri Krishna, except for me?
Perhaps Sita knows a little, as do I, as revealed by fate; among all women in the three worlds, there is none as devoted and sorrowful as I.
Who would believe my inner pain upon hearing it? Among young women, O son of Uddhava, whose suffering is equal to mine?
Among women, none like Radhika has ever been nor will be—afflicted by separation, yet endowed with happiness, fortune, and splendor.
Having attained the wish-fulfilling tree and the Lord of the worlds as my husband, I have been deceived by the merciless and sinful creator.
Life is fulfilled, birth is blessed, the eyes and mind are deeply satisfied—by the vision of his lotus feet, moon-like face, and beautiful form.
By merely hearing his name, the five vital airs are delighted; by mere remembrance, the soul blossoms and is deeply nourished.
He whose touch in love, whose fame in the three worlds, whose stories and wealth—I, dear child, could never forget that Lord.
He who possesses beauty that conquers the three worlds and all virtues; he is not created by the creator, but the creator is made by him.
He is the creator of the creator, the giver of all wealth; surpassing the wish-fulfilling tree, he is peaceful, beloved of Lakshmi, and enchanting.
The Lord of all, the seed of all, the Supreme Soul, the ruler—by what wealth, dear one, could I ever forget that husband?
Neither the moon nor Cupid, nor the twin Ashvins, nor any direction is worthy to be compared to his beauty and virtues.
Those called Brahma, Shiva, and Shesha meditate upon his lotus feet; by what wealth, dear one, could I ever forget that Lord?
Those who behold that incomparable and enchanting form even in dreams, they too, abandoning all else, meditate upon Him day and night.
By His virtue, the mountain melts, water solidifies, dry wood becomes liquid, the dead tree blossoms, and the wind is stilled.
The sun and the ocean are restrained by devotion; by what wealth, O son, could I ever forget that beloved One?
Out of fear of Him, this wind blows; out of fear of Him, the sun shines; Indra sends rain, fire burns, and death moves among creatures.
Out of fear of Him, trees bear fruit and flowers in their season; the oceans remain within their bounds, as do the planets, sages, and gods.
He is the Time of time, the destroyer of the destroyer, the Lord of the creator; He is independent, autonomous, and known as the Self.
