And that is of the nature of light, having the form of a radiant circle.
It is vast like space, all-pervading and imperishable.
There, the yogis declare, is the supreme, eternal Brahman.
It is without desire, without form—the supreme Self, the Lord.
It is of the nature of supreme bliss, the cause of supreme bliss; and there, too, merges Prakriti, the source of all seeds.
Just as the power to burn is in fire, and radiance is in the sun, O sage,
Just as sound is in the sky, and scent is always in the earth,
So, when Brahman is inclined toward creation, a portion of it is known as Purusha.
There, she is threefold in qualities, and is remembered as the supreme, shadowy form.
Just as a potter is always able to make a pot from clay,
And just as a goldsmith is able to make an earring from gold,
The pot is made by the potter, but the clay is eternal and everlasting.
So too, that supreme Brahman is eternal, and Prakriti is also said to be eternal.
To obtain clay or gold, the potter and goldsmith are required.
Therefore, O Narada, Brahman is supreme over Prakriti.
Some say that Brahman itself is both Prakriti and Purusha.
That Brahman is the supreme abode, the cause of all causes.
Brahman and the Self of all are untouched, and exist as the witness.
The power of that Brahman is Prakriti, the very form of all seeds.
Yogis always meditate on that Brahman as having the form of light.
Whose is that radiance not a wonder, when they meditate without the Person?
Therefore, the Vaishnavas meditate there on a captivating form.
In the shape of a circle of light, shining like ten million suns.
A beautiful square, measuring a hundred million yojanas.
Clearly visible, circular in shape, like the disc of the moon.
Fifty million yojanas above the eternal Vaikuntha.
Filled with wish-fulfilling cows, adorned with the circle of the rasa dance.
With a hundred peaks, brilliantly shining with golden domes, most splendid and desired; measured by a hundred million delightful hermitages.
A most beautiful hermitage, joined with a hundred temples.
