वृद्धा बाला युवत्यश्च वस्त्राभरणभूषिताः
Elderly women, young girls, and maidens, adorned with garments and ornaments,
काश्चित्सिन्दूरहस्ताश्च काश्चित्कंकतिहाकराः
Some holding vermilion in their hands, others carrying mirrors,
काश्चिन्निर्भूषिताः काश्चित्सर्वाभरणभूषिताः
Some unadorned, and some adorned with every ornament,
ऋषिकन्या देवकन्या नागकन्या मनोहराः
The lovely daughters of sages, goddesses, and serpent maidens,
सर्वा अप्सरसो दिव्या रम्भाद्या समुपस्थिताः 4.44.
