कान्तं दृष्ट्वा हिनस्त्येव सोपायेनावलीलया

Food, feces, water, and urine of wanton women are certainly the same.
शतवर्षं कालसूत्रे पचत्येव सुदारुणे

आयुः श्रीयशसां हानिरिह लोके परत्र च 4.23.

पुंश्चलीदर्शने पुण्यं यात्रासिद्धिर्भवेद्ध्रुवम्

स्नानं दानं व्रतं चैव जपश्च देवपूजनम्
Bathing, giving gifts, observing vows, reciting prayers, and worship of the gods—
कथितं कुलटाख्यानं दुर्ज्ञेयं च यथागमम्

स पुनश्चेतनां प्राप्य तां दृष्ट्वैव बलेः सुतः
Regaining consciousness, the son of Bali, upon seeing her, again—
उवाच कुटिलापाङ्गी पीनश्रोणिपयोधराम्
She, with sidelong glances, full hips, and swelling breasts, spoke—
साहसिक उवाच स्वयं क्व यासि कं सुभ्रूः पुण्यवन्तं मनोहरम्
The bold one spoke: 'Where are you going by yourself, O beautiful-browed one, blessed and enchanting?'
कल्पान्ते तपसा पूतं भोक्तुं त्वामेव सुन्दरि
'At the end of an age, purified by austerity, I wish to enjoy you alone, O lovely one.'
क्रीणीहि रतिपुण्येन मां भृत्यं रतिलोलुपम्
'Purchase me with the merit of passion, as your servant, eager for pleasure.'
वाक्यं पीयूषसदृशं सस्मितं वद सुन्दरि 4.23.
'Speak words as sweet as nectar, with a smile, O beautiful one.'
आसनं देहि कल्याणि स्वोरुं कनकसन्निभम्
'Give me a seat, O auspicious one, your thigh shining like gold.'
तीक्ष्णास्त्रेण कटाक्षेण जर्जरं कुरु भामिनि
'With your sharp weapon—your glance—break me down, O lovely one.'
अधरोष्ठामृतं स्वादु देहि मे क्षुधिताय च ।। पक्वदाडिमबीजाभं दन्तं दर्शय सुन्दरम
'Give me the sweet nectar of your lower lip, for I am hungry; show me your beautiful teeth, like ripe pomegranate seeds.'
गम्भीरनाभिं त्रिवलीं द्रष्टुमिच्छामि सुन्दरि
'I wish to see your deep navel and triple folds, O beautiful one.'
श्रोणीं पश्यामि ललितां मुनिमानसमोहिनीम्
'I gaze upon your graceful hips, which enchant the minds of sages.'
शरत्पार्वणचन्द्रास्यं प्रसन्नं च प्रदर्शय
'Show me your face, serene and lovely as the full autumn moon.'
दृष्ट्वाऽऽर्त कामबाणेन मानसंक्षयकामिनी पतिस्त्वत्सदृशो नाथ कामिनीनां मनीषितः
Seeing you, wounded by the arrow of desire, my mind longs for union; a husband like you, lord, is sought by women.
बलिपुत्रोऽसि धर्मिष्ठो रूपवान्गुणवान्युवा ।। शृङ्गारनिपुणः कान्तः कामशास्त्रविशारदः
You are the son of Bali, righteous, handsome, virtuous, and young; skilled in love, charming, and expert in the arts of passion.
सदा मनोज्ञः स्त्रीणां त्वं सुवेषश्च स्वभावतः
You are always delightful to women, naturally well-adorned.
शृङ्गारज्ञं गुणज्ञं त्वां युवानं रसिकं शुचिम् दातारमनुरक्तं च कान्तमिच्छति कामिनी।।4.23.
A woman who desires union seeks a lover who knows passion, virtues, is youthful, appreciative of pleasures, pure, generous, devoted, and charming.
एते सर्वे गुणाः कान्त सन्ति कान्ते त्वयि ध्रुवम्
All these qualities, O beloved, are certainly present in you.
संतोषं ते करिष्यामि समागम्य विधोर्गृहात् अन्याश्लेषणमात्रेण भविता धर्मलङ्घना
I will bring you satisfaction by coming together from the house of the Creator; merely embracing another would be a transgression of righteousness.
याश्च धर्मान्न रक्षन्ति तासां च जीवनं वृथा ता एव मातृगर्भस्था न प्राज्ञाः पौरुषै रसैः
Those women who do not uphold righteousness, their lives are in vain; even while in the mother's womb, they are not wise nor do they relish manly pleasures.
स्ववैद्यौमदनश्चन्द्रो मरुत्वान्नलकूबरः
Kubera, Madana, Chandra, Marut, and Nalakubara—
दिवानिशं मानसं मे तेषां क्रीडां च चिन्तयेत्
Day and night, my mind contemplates their play.
