सर्वेन्द्रियस्वरूपं च विराड्रूपं नमाम्यहम्
I bow to him who is the essence of all the senses, who has the cosmic form.
सर्वमन्तस्वरूपं च नमामि परमेश्वरम्
I bow to the Supreme Lord, who is the embodiment of all mantras.
स्वतन्त्रमस्वतन्त्रं च यशोदानन्दनं भजे
I worship Yaśodā's son, who is both independent and dependent.
ध्यानासाध्यं विद्यमानं योगीन्द्राणां गुरुं भजे
I worship him who is attainable through meditation, who exists, and who is the guru of the greatest yogis.
गोपीभिः सेव्यमानं च तं धरेशं नमाम्यहम्
I bow to that Lord of the earth, who is served by the gopīs.
योगीशं योगसाध्यं च नमामि शिवसेवितम् ।।4.20.
I bow to the Lord of yogis, who is attainable through yoga, and who is served by Shiva.
मन्त्रसिद्धिस्वरूपं तं नमामि च परात्परम्
I bow to him who is the embodiment of mantra-siddhi, who is the supreme beyond the supreme.
पुण्यप्रदं च शुभदं शुभबीजं नमाम्यहम्
I bow to him who grants merit, brings auspiciousness, and is the seed of all good.
निपत्य दण्डवद्भूमौ रुरोद प्रणनाम च
Falling prostrate on the ground, he wept and offered obeisance.
ब्रह्मणा च कृतं स्तोत्रं नित्यं भक्त्या च यः पठेत्
Whoever recites with devotion this hymn composed by Brahmā every day—
लभते दास्यमतुलं स्थानमीश्वरसन्निधौ
He attains incomparable service and a place near the Lord.
श्रीनारायण उवाच श्रीकृष्णो बालकैः सार्धं जगाम स्वालयं विभुः
Śrī Nārāyaṇa said: Śrī Kṛṣṇa, together with the boys, went to his own home.
गावो वत्साश्च बालाश्च जग्मुर्वर्षान्तरे गृहम्
The cows, calves, and boys returned home at the end of the rainy season.
गोपा गोपालिका किंचित्तत्कर्तुं न क्षमास्तदा
At that time, the cowherds and cowherd women were unable to do anything about it.
इत्येवं कथितं सर्वं श्रीकृष्णचरितं शुभम्
Thus, all the auspicious deeds of Shri Krishna have been narrated.
श्रीनारायण उवाच दुन्दुभिं वादयामास शक्रयागकृतोद्यमः
Shri Narayana said: The kettledrum was sounded, marking the commencement of Indra's sacrificial rite.
दधि क्षीरं घृतं तक्रं नवनीतं गुडं मधु
Curd, milk, ghee, buttermilk, fresh butter, jaggery, and honey
येये सन्त्यत्र नगरे गोपा गोप्यश्च बालकाः
All the cowherds, cowherd women, and children who are present in the city
इत्येवं श्रावयामास स्वयमेव मुदाऽन्वितः
He himself joyfully announced this aloud.
ददौ तत्र क्षौमवस्त्रं मालाजालं मनोहरम्
There, he gave fine silk garments and enchanting garlands.
स्नातः कृताह्निको भक्त्या धृत्वा धौते च वाससी
Having bathed, performed the daily rites, and donned freshly washed garments with devotion
नानाप्रकारपात्रैश्च ब्राह्मणैश्च पुरोहितैः
With various kinds of vessels, along with Brahmins and officiating priests
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे तत्राजग्मुर्नगरवासिनः
Meanwhile, the residents of the city arrived there.
आजग्मुर्मुनयः सर्वे ज्वलन्तं ब्रह्मतेजसा
All the sages came, radiant with the brilliance of Brahman.
गर्गश्च गालवश्चैव शाकल्यः शाकटायनः 4.21.
Garga, Galava, Shakalya, and Shakatayana
सौभरिर्वामदेवश्च याज्ञवल्क्यश्च पाणिनिः
Saubhari, Vamadeva, Yajnavalkya, and Panini
कृष्णद्वैपायनः शृङ्गी सुमन्तुर्जैमिनिः कचः
Krishna Dvaipayana, Shringi, Sumantu, Jaimini, and Kacha
ब्राह्मणाश्च कतिविधा भिक्षुका बन्दिनस्तथा
Various Brahmins, mendicants, and bards as well
दृष्ट्वा मुनीन्द्रान्नन्दश्च ब्राह्मणान्भूमिपांस्तथा
Seeing the great sages, Nanda also saw the Brahmins and the kings.
प्रणम्य वासयामास मुनीन्द्रान्विप्रभूमिपान्
He bowed and accommodated the great sages, Brahmins, and kings.
