चारु चम्पकवृक्षैश्च पुष्पितैः सुमनोहरैः 4.17.

आम्रैर्गुडालैः पनसैः खर्जूरैर्नारिकेलकैः
With mango, sugarcane, jackfruit, date, and coconut trees.
तुङ्गैराम्रातकैर्जम्बुसमूहैश्च फलान्वितैः
With tall āmrātaka trees and clusters of jambu trees laden with fruit.
सर्वतः शोभिताभिश्च फलैस्तैः पुष्पितैरहो
On all sides, it was adorned with those fruits and blossoming flowers—how wonderful!
परिखानां रहः स्थाने चकार मार्गमुत्तमम्
In a secluded spot among the moats, he made an excellent path.
संकेतेन मणिस्तम्भैश्छादितैः स्वल्पपाथसा
By secret sign, with jewel pillars, and a narrow path concealed.
परिखोपरिभागे च प्राकारं सुमनोहरम्
In the area above the moat, he constructed a most delightful wall.
प्रस्तरस्य प्रमाणं च पञ्चविंशतिहस्तकम्
The measurement of the stone pavement was twenty-five cubits.
बाह्ये द्वाभ्यां च संयुक्तमन्तरे सप्तभिस्तथा
On the outside, joined by two, and within, likewise by seven.
स्वर्णसारविनिर्माणकलशोज्ज्वलशेखरम् 4.17.
Its summit shone with finials crafted from pure gold.
राजमार्गाश्च विविधान्स च चारूंश्चकार ह
He also made various royal roads, all of them beautiful.
पारावारे च परितो निबन्धांश्च मनोहरान्
And all around the shores, he made enchanting embankments.
सर्वतो दक्षिणे वामे ज्वलद्भिश्च विराजितान्
On every side, to the right and left, adorned with blazing lights.
सुन्दरं मण्डलाकारं मणिप्राकारसंयुतम्
Beautiful, circular in shape, furnished with jeweled walls.
मणिसारविकारैश्च मण्डपैर्नवकोटिभिः
With pavilions numbering ninety million, fashioned from the essence of jewels.
नानाजातिप्रसूनानां वायुना सुरभीकृतैः
With the fragrance of many kinds of flowers, made sweet by the wind.
पुष्पोद्यानैः पुष्पितैश्च सरोभिश्च सुशोभितम्
Adorned with blossoming flower gardens and beautiful lakes.
दृष्ट्वा वृन्दावनं रम्यं परितुष्टो बभूव ह
Beholding the charming Vṛndāvana, he became completely satisfied.
कृत्वा परिमितं बुद्ध्या मनसालोच्य यत्नतः
Having carefully considered and measured it with his mind and intelligence.
राधामाधवयोरेव क्रीडार्थं च विनिर्ममे 4.17.
He created it solely for the play of Rādhā and Mādhava.
वटमूलसमीपे च सरसः पश्चिमे तटे
Near the root of a banyan tree, on the western bank of the lake.
पुनस्तयोश्च क्रीडार्थं चकार रत्नमण्डपम्
Again, for their play, he made a jeweled pavilion.
सद्रत्नसाररचितै राजितं तूलिकाशतैः
Adorned with hundreds of couches, fashioned from the finest jewels.
कपाटैर्नवभिर्युक्तं नवद्वारैर्मनोहरैः
Fitted with nine doors, and nine enchanting gateways.
परितः परितो भित्त्यामूर्ध्वं च परिशोभितम्
All around, upon the walls and above, it was splendidly adorned.
सद्रत्नसाररचितकलशोज्ज्वलशेखरम्
Its shining pinnacle was fashioned from the essence of excellent jewels.
सर्वतः पुरतो दीप्तममूल्यरत्न दर्पणैः
Everywhere in front, it gleamed with priceless gemstone mirrors.
शतहस्तप्रमाणं च प्रस्तारं वर्तुलाकृतिम्
Its expanse measured a hundred hands, and it was circular in shape.
वह्निशुद्धांशुकैर्वस्त्रैर्मालाजालविचित्रितैः
It was decorated with garments purified by fire, and with intricate garlands.
चन्दनागुरुकस्तूरीकुङ्कुमैः सुरभीकृतम् 4.17.
It was made fragrant with sandalwood, aloe, musk, and saffron.
