In the sacred realm of Goloka, Rādhikā reigns supreme as the sovereign of all the cowherd women, her presence radiant and commanding. It is by her energy that even Śiva, the mighty lord, is empowered; without her, he would be as lifeless as a corpse. Nārāyaṇa, as the protector and lord of the world, depends upon her, manifest as Lakṣmī, for his strength and grace. Śeṣa, the great serpent, sustains all creation, having placed her upon his head, thus supporting the very earth itself. Indeed, the entire world, endowed with power, would be lifeless without her. Just as a potter, strong and skilled, shapes clay into a pot, so too is all creation shaped by her energy. Without her, even the greatest beings are inert and powerless everywhere. She is the burning power within fire; without her, fire itself is powerless. After offering these praises, the Lord of the world attained her blessings. With his consort, the whole world became one with the daughter of the mountain, Parvati. The king, having praised the beloved of Hari, journeyed to Goloka. Through her grace, he soon obtained a virtuous, beautiful, and faithful wife. When the daughter of Daksha died, it was by the command of the Supreme Self. Once, by the curse of Durvasa, the hosts of gods were deprived of prosperity. Yet, whoever hears this sacred account for a year, desiring a son, will obtain a child. Whoever worships her and recites this hymn on the full moon of Kartika will be blessed. If a woman hears this hymn, she is united with her husband's good fortune. Whoever always recites this with devotion, worshipping Radha with a sincere heart, will receive her blessings. Thus concludes the fifty-fifth chapter of the glorious Brahmavaivarta Mahapurana, within the second section, in the dialogue between Narada and Narayana, and the conversation of Hara and Gauri, which tells the story of Sri Radhika and the narration of her hymn and worship. Afterwards, Parvati spoke: “Now, please reveal the protective mantra; I will listen, by your grace.” Maheshvara replied: “Long ago, in Goloka, the Supreme Self revealed this mantra to me. It is the most secret, supreme truth, the embodiment of all collections of mantras. By receiving it, I became your master, and you, the supreme mother, became the ruler of the gods. By taking this mantra, the Supreme Self, beyond all qualities and transcending nature, exists. Vishnu, the protector, attained the daughter of the ocean by its power. Within each pore of the skin, countless universes, vast and immense, reside. By holding and reciting this mantra, dharma stands as witness everywhere. Indra, lord of the gods, is great through its recitation and practice. The glorious Moon performed the royal sacrifice by its power. Agni, the fire god, purifies the world through reciting this mantra. Death moves independently among creatures, empowered by it. Jāmadagnya and Rāma became powerful through its recitation. Sanatkumāra, the blessed sage, became the guru of the wise because of this mantra. Vasiṣṭha, son of Brahmā, attained perfection by reciting it. Because of this mantra, Bhṛgu harbors hatred towards me, and the tortoise bears Śeṣa. Īśāna rules the directions, and Yama is the ruler because of Śiva. Gautama became accomplished, and Kaśyapa became the progenitor by its power. Long ago, at the separation from his wife, Durvāsā, the foremost sage, acted thus, relying on this mantra. Nala attained Damayantī, the virtuous woman, because of its grace. The bull carries me through difficult places, just as Garuda carries Hari. Such is the greatness of the protective mantra, the supreme secret and source of all power, revealed from Goloka, and cherished by the gods and sages alike.
