बालाबीजानि तान्येव द्विरावृत्त्याथ विन्यसेत्
Those same Bala seed-syllables should be placed again, repeating twice.
नाभ्यादावथ विन्यस्य न्यसेदथ पदद्वये
Having placed them at the navel and so forth, he should then place them at the two feet.
नवासनानि ब्रह्माणं विष्णुं रुद्रं तथेश्वरम्
Place the seats of Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Rudra, and Īśvara.
विद्यासनं च विन्यस्य हृदये दर्शयेत्ततः
Then, establishing the seat of knowledge, one should visualize it in the heart.
वायुमापूर्य हुं हुं हुं त्विति प्राबीध्य कुण्डलीम् वाराही च तथेन्द्राणी चामुण्डा चैव सप्तमी
Filling with air, uttering 'huṃ huṃ huṃ', one should awaken the Kuṇḍalinī; likewise, Vārāhī, Indrāṇī, Cāmuṇḍā, and Saptamī.
भावयित्वा पुनस्तं च स्वस्थाने विनिवेश्य च मुद्रादेवीर्न्यसेदष्टावेष्वेव द्वे च ते पुनः
After meditating thus, placing it again in its own place, one should assign the goddess mudrās—eight in all, and then two more.
समस्तमूर्ध्नि दोर्मूलमध्याग्रेषु यथाक्रमम् सर्वविद्राविणी पश्चात्सर्वार्थाकर्षणी तथा
On the crown of the head, at the base, in the middle, and at the tip of the arms, in order; then, Sarvavidrāviṇī at the back, and likewise Sarvārthākarṣaṇī.
हृदयादौ च विन्यस्य कुङ्कुमं न्यासमाचरेत् महाङ्कुशी च सर्वाद्या सर्वाद्या खेचरी तथा
Beginning from the heart, one should perform the application of kuṅkuma; Mahāṅkuśī and Sarvādyā, and likewise Khecarī.
आद्यबीजद्वयं न्यस्य ह्यन्त्यबीजं न्यसेदिति योनिमुद्रेति विज्ञेयास्तत्र चक्रेश्वरीं न्यसेत्
Placing the two initial seed-syllables, then the final seed-syllable—this is known as the Yoni Mudrā; there, one should install Cakreśvarī.
वर्गाष्टकं न्यसेन्मूले नाभौ हृदयकण्ठयोः ततः कलानां नित्यानां क्रमात्षोडशकं न्यसेत्
One should assign the eight groups of letters at the root, navel, heart, and throat; then, in order, the sixteen eternal phases.
कक्षकट्यंसवामांसकटिहृत्सु च विन्यसेत् अहङ्काराकर्षिणी च शब्दाकर्षणरूपिणी
One should place them at the armpits, hips, shoulders, left side, waist, and heart; also Ahaṅkārākarṣiṇī and Śabdākarṣaṇarūpiṇī.
ऋषिस्तु शब्दब्रह्मस्याच्छन्दो भूतलिपिर्मता रसाकर्षणरूपा च गन्धाकर्षणरूपिणी
The seer is of the sound-brahman; the meter is called Bhūtalipi; also Rasākarṣaṇarūpā and Gandhākarṣaṇarūpiṇī.
अक्षस्रक्पुस्तके चोर्ध्वे पुष्पसायककार्मुके स्मृत्याकर्षणरूपा च हृदाकर्षणरूपिणी
Above, on the rosary and book, and on the bow and flower-arrow; also Smṛtyākarṣaṇarūpā and Hṛdākarṣaṇarūpiṇī.
रक्षणाक्षमयीं मानां वहन्ती कण्ठदेशतः
Carrying the measure of protection and forgiveness at the region of the throat.
दिव्याङ्गरागसंभिन्नमणिकुण्डलमण्डिताम् दक्षहस्त तलस्याथ पृष्ठं तत्स्फिक्च जानुनी
Adorned with divine cosmetics and mingled with jeweled earrings, then on the palm and back of the right hand, on the hips, and on both knees.
साक्षाल्लिपिमयीं ध्यायेद्भैरवीं भक्तवत्सलाम् चक्रेशीं न्यस्य चक्रं च समर्च्य व्याप्य वर्ष्मणि
One should meditate on Bhairavī, composed directly of script, who is fond of devotees; installing Cakreśī, and worshipping the cakra, pervading the body.
एवं ध्यात्वा न्यसेद्भूयो भूतलेप्यक्षरान्क्रमात् शङ्खजत्रूरुजङ्घासु वामे तु प्रतिलोमतः
Having meditated thus, one should again assign the letters of the earth-script in order, on the left side—on the conch, collarbone, thigh, and shin, in reverse order.
शषसान्मूर्ध्नि संन्यस्य स्वरानेष्वेव विन्यसेत् अनङ्गमदना पश्चादनङ्गमदनातुरा
Placing the six letters on the head, and the vowels on these same places; then Anaṅgamadanā, followed by Anaṅgamadanāturā.
अङ्गुलीमूलमणिबन्धयोर्देष्णोश्च पादयोः ततो ऽनङ्गाङ्कुशा पश्चादनङ्गाधारमालिनी
At the base of the fingers, wrists, big toes, and feet; then Anaṅgāṅkuśā, followed by Anaṅgādhāramālinī.
शषसान्मूलहृन्मूर्धस्वेतान्वा लादिकान्न्य सेत् शक्तिदेवीर्न्यसेत्सर्वसंक्षोभिण्यादिका अथ
Placing the six letters at the base, heart, and head, and then the vowels from 'a' onward; then one should assign the Śakti goddesses, beginning with Sarvasaṃkṣobhiṇī.
अकौ खगेनगश्चादौ क्रमोयं शिष्टवर्गके उपर्यधश्च जङ्घायां तथा वामे विलोमतः
At first, the bird and the serpent are placed in order among the remaining group, above and below at the calf, and likewise on the left in reverse.
आद्यः पञ्चाक्षरो वर्गो द्वितीयश्चतुरक्षरः सर्वाद्याकर्षणी शक्तिः सर्वप्रह्लादिनी तथा
The first is a group of five syllables, the second is of four syllables; the power that attracts all at the beginning, and likewise the power that delights all.
ब्रह्मा विष्णुश्च रुद्रश्च धनेशेन्द्रयमाः क्रमात् सर्वाद्या जृंभिणी शक्तिः सर्वाद्या वशकारिणी
Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, the lord of wealth, Indra, and Yama, in order; the power that expands all at the beginning, and the power that subdues all at the beginning.
वर्णानामीश्वराः प्रोक्ताः क्रमो भूतलिपेरयम्
The lords of the syllables are declared; the order is according to the earth's surface.
स्थानानि योजनीयौ विसर्गबिन्दू च वर्णान्तौ चक्रेशीं न्यस्य चक्रं च समर्प्य व्याप्य वर्ष्मणि
The places should be joined, and the visarga and bindu at the end of the syllables; placing the mistress of the wheel and offering the wheel, pervading the body.
जपाकुसुमसंकाशाः कुङ्कुमारुणविग्रहाः दक्षनासापुटे दन्तमूले दक्षस्तने तथा
Resembling the color of hibiscus flowers, with forms red as saffron, at the right nostril, at the root of the teeth, and likewise at the right breast.
रतिप्रीतियुतः कामः कामिन्याः कान्तैष्यते सर्वसिद्धिप्रदा नित्यं सर्वसंपत्प्रदा तथा
Desire, accompanied by pleasure and love, is sought by the beloved; always bestowing all accomplishments and likewise all prosperity.
अन्वेति कामचारैस्तु विलासिन्या समन्वितः सर्वाघमोचिनी शक्तिः सर्वदुःखविमोचिनी
He follows with those who move by desire, united with the playful one; the power that releases all sins, and the power that releases all suffering.
शुचिस्मितान्वितः कामो बन्धको विस्मृतायुतः सर्वाङ्गसुन्दरी चैव सर्वसौभाग्यदायिनी
Desire, accompanied by one with a pure smile, is the binder, endowed with forgetfulness; and the one of beautiful limbs, indeed, the bestower of all good fortune.
रमण्या रतिनाथोपि दिग्वस्त्राढ्यो रतिप्रियः सर्वज्ञाद्यान्न्यसेद्वक्षस्यपि दन्तस्थलेष्वथ
The lord of pleasure, accompanied by a lovely woman, clad only in the directions, fond of pleasure; after placing the omniscient ones on the chest and at the roots of the teeth.
