कामेश्यादिचतुर्थी सा नित्यानां षोडशी मता
She is considered the fourth after Kameshi and the others, and among the Nityas, she is called Shodashi.
समयेश्यन्तरालस्योपरिष्टादिल्वलान्तक
Above the interval of the Samayeshis is Ilvalantaka.
चतुर्नल्वप्रविस्तारं प्राग्वत्सोपानमण्डितम्
It extends four alvas across, adorned with steps as before.
सर्वेषां मन्त्रगुरवः सर्वविद्यामहार्णवाः
All are teachers of mantras, great oceans of all knowledge.
सृष्टाः कामंशदेवेन तेषां नामानि मे शृणु
Created by Kamamsha Deva, listen to their names from me.
तैः सृष्टा बहवो लोकारक्षार्थं पादुकात्मकाः
Many were created by them, in the form of sandals, for the protection of the worlds.
प्राप्तसालोक्यसारूप्यसायुज्यादिकसिद्धयः
They have attained the perfections of residing in the same world, having the same form, union, and so on.
अथ नाथान्तरालस्योपरिष्टाद्धिष्ण्यमुत्तमम्
Now, above the interval of the Lords, is the supreme seat.
नित्यान्तरमिति प्रोक्तं नित्याः पञ्चदशात्र वै
This is called the inner circle of the Nityas; here, there are indeed fifteen Nityas.
नित्यक्लिन्ना अपि तथा भेरुण्डा वह्निवासिनी
Nityaklinna, as well as Bherunda and Vahnivasini, are also there.
नित्या नीलपताका च विजया सर्वमङ्गला
Eternal, with a blue banner, victorious, and the source of all auspiciousness.
एता देवीस्वरूपाः स्युर्महाबलपराक्रमाः
These are forms of the Goddess, possessing great strength and valor.
कालत्रितयरूपाश्च कालग्रासविचक्षणाः
They take the forms of the three divisions of time and are skilled in the devouring of time.
तत्तत्कालशतायुष्यरूपा देव्याज्ञया स्थिताः
Assuming forms with lifespans of hundreds of ages, they remain by the command of the Goddess.
सेवन्ते जगतामृद्ध्यै ललितां चित्स्वरूपिणीम्
They serve Lalitā, the embodiment of consciousness, for the prosperity of the worlds.
विसृष्टिबिन्दुचक्रे तु षोडश्या भवनं मतम्
Within the circle of the creative bindu, the abode of Ṣoḍaśī is considered.
अङ्गदेव्यन्तरं प्रोक्तं हस्तविंशातिरुन्नतम्
Within the inner realm of the Aṅga-devīs, it is said to rise to a height of twenty hands.
तस्मिन्हृदयदेव्याद्याः शक्तयः संति वै मुने
There, O sage, reside the powers beginning with Hṛdaya-devī.
वर्मदेवी दृष्टिदेवी शस्त्रदेवी षडीरिताः
Varmadevī, Dṛṣṭidevī, and Śastradevī—these six are proclaimed.
नवलावण्यपूर्णाङ्ग्यः सावधाना धृतायुधाः
Their bodies are filled with youthful beauty, ever alert, and bearing weapons.
ललिताज्ञाप्रवर्तिन्यो वशीनां पीठवर्तिकाः
They act according to the command of Lalitā and preside over the seats of the controllers.
बिन्दुनाद महापीठं दशहस्तसमुन्नतम्
The great seat of Bindu and Nāda rises to a height of ten hands.
बिन्दुपीठमिदं ज्ञेयं श्रीपीठमपि चेष्यते
This is to be known as the Bindu seat, and it is also called the Śrī seat.
आनन्दपीठमपि च पञ्चाशत्पीठरूपधृक्
It is also known as the seat of bliss, assuming the form of fifty seats.
जागर्ति मञ्चरत्नं तु प्रपञ्चत्रयमूलकम्
The jeweled throne awakens here, which is the root of the three worlds.
दशहस्तसमुन्नम्रा हस्तत्रितयविष्ठिताः
Rising to a height of ten hands, it is established by three hands.
शक्तिभावमनुप्राप्ताः सदा श्रीध्यानयोगतः
They have attained the state of power, always through the yoga of meditation on Śrī.
ब्रह्मात्मकः स विज्ञेयो वह्निदिग्भागमाश्रितः
That is to be known as having the nature of Brahman, situated in the direction of fire.
ईश्वरात्मा स विज्ञेय ईशदिग्भागमाश्रितः
The Supreme Self is to be known as the Lord, established in the direction of Īśa.
उपर्यधःस्तंभरूपा मध्ये पुरुषरूपिणः
Above and below are the forms of pillars, and in the middle is the form of the Person.
