इत्थ समीरितं पश्चात्तत्रान्यदपि कथ्यते
Thus it has been described; now, something further will be told.
योजनायामविस्तारं योजनोच्छासचातकम्
Measuring a yojana in length and breadth, and a yojana in height, it is covered.
परमैश्वर्यजनकः पावनो ललिताज्ञया
The wind, at the command of Lalitā, generates supreme sovereignty there.
कङ्कोलीपल्लवच्छायस्तत्र ज्वलति चिच्छिखी
There, the flame of consciousness blazes, shaded by the leaves of the Kaṅkolī tree.
उभौ तौ नित्यहोतारौ रक्षतः सकलं जगत्
Both of those eternal priests protect the entire world.
ललिताचोदितः कामः शङ्करेण प्रवर्तितः
Kāma, prompted by Lalitā, was set in motion by Śaṅkara.
चिन्तामणिगृहेन्द्रस्य रक्षोभागेम्बुजाटवौ
In the lotus forest of the demon's share, belonging to the lord of the wish-gem palace,
नवभिः पर्वभिर्युक्तः सर्वरत्नमयाकृतिः
Adorned with nine peaks, its form is made of every precious jewel.
यथोत्तरे ह्रासयुक्तः स्थूलतः कूबरोज्ज्वलः
As it extends northward, it diminishes, yet is massive and radiant with its axis.
तत्त्वैरु पचरद्भिश्च चामरैरभिमण्डितः
Decorated with fans made from the elements and with camaras waving about.
भण्डासुरमहायुद्धे कृतसाहसिकक्रियः
In the great battle against Bhaṇḍāsura, he performed daring deeds.
चिन्तामणिगृहेन्द्रस्य वायुभागेम्बुजाटवौ
In the lotus forest of the wind's share, belonging to the lord of the wish-gem palace,
चिन्तामणिगृहेन्द्रस्य रुद्रभागेम्बुजाटवौ
In the lotus forest of Rudra's share, belonging to the lord of the wish-gem palace,
समानमेव विज्ञेयमङ्गस्था देवता यथा
It should be understood as equal, just as the deities reside in the limbs.
तप्तमेतत्तु गायत्री तप्तं स्याद भयङ्करम्
This is heated; the Gāyatrī is heated, and it becomes terrifying.
देवी तुरीयगायत्री चक्षुष्मत्यपि तापस
The goddess Turīya Gāyatrī, even with eyes, is ascetic.
तारांबिका भगवती तत्पश्चाद्भागतः स्थिताः
Tārāmbikā, the blessed goddess, stands afterward, belonging to that share.
नामत्रय पहामन्त्रवाच्यो ऽस्ति भगवान्हरिः
Hari, the blessed one, is to be invoked by the triple-name mantra.
पञ्चाक्षरीमन्त्रवाच्यस्तस्य चाप्युत्तरे शिवः
Śiva is to be invoked by the five-syllable mantra, and he resides to the north.
सरस्वती धारणाख्या ह्यस्य चोत्तरवासिनी
Sarasvatī, known as Dhāraṇā, dwells to the north of this.
मातृकाया उत्तरतस्तस्यां विन्ध्यनिषूदन
Beyond the Mother goddess, in that place, O destroyer of Vindhya,
श्रीमहाशम्भुनाथा च देव्याविर्भावकारणम्
Śrī Mahāśambhunātha is the cause of the goddess's manifestation.
उत्तरोत्तरमेतास्तु देवताः कृतमन्दिराः
These deities, one after another, have established their temples.
श्रीपादुकाचतस्रस्तदुत्तरोत्तरमन्दिराः
The four temples of the revered sandals are also arranged one after another.
महापद्माटवौ त्वन्या देवताः कृतमन्दिराः
Other deities, too, have established their temples in the great lotus forest.
तिरस्करणिकांबा च तथान्या पञ्चमी परा
There is also Tiraskaraṇikāmbā, and likewise another, the supreme fifth.
श्रीपूर्तिश्च महादेवी श्रीमहापादुकापि च
Śrīpūrti and the great goddess, as well as the revered great sandals, are present.
या विद्यास्ताः समस्ताश्च महापद्माटवीस्थले
All those vidyās reside on the ground of the great lotus forest.
उच्चध्वजा उच्चशालास्ससोपानास्तपोधन
There are tall banners, lofty halls with stairways, O ascetic.
दक्षिणे पार्श्वभागेतु मन्त्रिनाथागृहं महत्
On the southern side stands the great house of the chief minister.
