वर्तते सायुधाः प्राज्ञ नित्यं पञ्चादशावृतौ
O wise one, these weapon-bearing deities always exist in the fifteenth enclosure.
विक्षिणत्काविचिन्वत्कास्तथा निर्हतनामकाः
Vikṣiṇat, Kāvicinvat, and those named Nirhatana are also there.
इति षोडशशालेषु स्थितै रुद्रैः सहस्रशः
Thus, in the sixteen halls, thousands of Rudras are established.
वर्तते जगतामृद्ध्यै मुक्ताशालेशकोणके
For the prosperity of the worlds, they dwell in the corners of the Mukta hall.
अभक्तांल्लरितादेव्याः प्रत्यूहैर्योजयन्त्यमी
These deities bind the non-devotees of Lalitā Devī with obstacles.
ललितापरमेश्वर्याः सेवामेव वितन्वते
They only perform service to Lalitā Parameśvarī.
शालोमारकताभिख्यश्चतुर्योजनमुच्छ्रितः
The enclosure called Śālomārakata rises to a height of four yojanas.
तत्र श्रीदण्डनाथाया दहनादिविदिग्गताः
There, the attendants of Śrī Daṇḍanātha are situated in the directions, beginning with the east.
गीतिचक्ररथेन्द्रस्य याः पर्वाणि समाश्रिताः
Those who have taken refuge in the festivals of Gīticakraratha's lord are present there.
सर्वाः स्थल्यो मरकतश्रेणिभिः खचिताः शुभाः
All the platforms are auspicious, adorned with rows of emeralds.
तत्रदेव्यः समस्ताश्च दण्डनाथासमश्रियः
There, all the goddesses and the officers of punishment, equal in splendor,
संख्यातीतास्तालवृक्षा नवस्वर्णविचित्रिताः
stand countless palm trees, adorned with new gold.
हेमत्वचो ऽतिसुस्निग्धाः सच्छायाः फलभङ्गुराः
Their bark is golden, exceedingly smooth, with clear shade, and their fruit easily breaks.
वर्तन्ते दण्डनाथायाः प्रीत्यर्थं शिल्पिभिः कृताः
These are made by craftsmen for the pleasure of the mistress of punishment.
जृंभिण्याद्याश्चक्रदेव्यो हेतुकाद्याश्च भैरवाः
There are Jṛmbhiṇī and other goddesses of the circle, and Bhairavas such as Hetuka and others.
चतुर्विदिक्षु दण्डिन्या यत्रयत्र महादृशः
In the four directions, wherever the great ones of Daṇḍinī are,
उन्मत्तभैरवी चव स्वप्नेशी सर्वतोदिशम्
there too are Unmattabhairavī and Svapneśī, in every direction.
तत्कक्षातिदवीयस्त्वान्सेवार्थं तत्र तद्गृहः
Not far from her domain, for the purpose of service, is her house.
प्राकारो विद्रुमाकारः प्रातरर्यमपाटलः
The enclosure is like coral, crimson as the dawn and the hue of Aryaman.
तद्वद्विद्रुमसंकाशो ब्रह्मा नलिनविष्टरः
Likewise, Brahmā is seated on a lotus, shining like coral.
सदा श्रीललितादेव्याः सेवनार्थमतन्द्रितः
He is always untiring in serving the goddess Śrī Lalitā.
चतुर्दशापि विद्यास्ता उपविद्याः सहस्रशः
All fourteen sciences and thousands of subsidiary sciences
वर्तन्ते जगतामृद्ध्यै ललिता देवताज्ञया
exist there, by the command of goddess Lalitā, for the prosperity of the worlds.
वर्तते विष्णुलोकस्तु ललितासेवनोत्सुकः
The world of Viṣṇu is present, eager to serve Lalitā.
विभिन्नमूर्तिः सततं वर्तते माधवः सदा
Mādhava, with ever-diverse forms, is always present there.
दशावतारदेवास्तु ते ऽपि माणिक्यमण्डपे
Even the gods of the ten incarnations are in the jeweled pavilion.
उपर्याच्छादनामात्रं माणिक्यदृषदां गणैः
Above is only a covering, made by groups of ruby stones.
भिन्नो द्वादशमूर्त्या च पूर्वाद्याशासुरक्षति
He, manifest in twelve forms, protects the eastern and other directions.
पश्चान्नारायणः शङ्खी नीलजीमूतसंनिभः
Behind stands Nārāyaṇa, bearing a conch, resembling a dark raincloud.
गोविन्दो दक्षिणे पार्श्वे धन्वी चन्द्रप्रभो महान्
On the southern side is Govinda, holding a bow, great and radiant as the moon.
