स्थाली च तत्र वैदृर्यनिर्मिता भास्वराकृतिः
There is also a shining vessel made of beryl, radiant in form.
ते सिद्धमूर्तयस्तत्र वसन्ति सुखमेदुराः
There, perfected beings dwell, enjoying happiness in abundance.
तक्षकः शङ्खचूडश्च महादन्तो महाफणः
Takṣaka and Śaṅkhacūḍa, great-toothed and great-hooded, are there.
गणस्तत्र तथा नागैः सार्धं वसति सांगनाः
The group, along with the nāgas and their companions, resides there.
ललितापूजका नित्यं वसन्त्यसुरभोगिनः
Those who worship Lalitā always live there, enjoying divine pleasures.
सरांसिविमलांभांसि सारसालङ्कृतानि च
The lakes are pure and shining, adorned with swans.
तेषु क्रीडन्ति ते नागा असुराश्च सहाङ्गनाः
In those, the nāgas and asuras play together with their companions.
इन्द्रनीलमयः शालश्चक्रवाल इवापरः
There is a hall made of sapphire, like another celestial dome.
नानाविधानि भोग्यानि वस्तूनि सरसान्यपि
There are various enjoyments, objects, and lakes of every kind.
ते देहान्ते शक्रनीलकक्ष्यां प्राप्य वसंति वै
At the end of their bodies, they attain the sapphire realm of Indra and dwell there.
पिबन्तो मधुरं मद्यं नृत्यन्तो भक्तिनिर्भराः
They drink sweet wine, dance, and are filled with devotion.
लतागृहेषु रम्येषु मन्दिरेषु महर्द्धिषु
In beautiful vine-covered houses and splendid temples, they delight.
निवसंति महाभागा नारीभिः परिवेष्टिताः
The greatly fortunate ones dwell, surrounded by women.
पुनर्यान्ति श्रीनगरे शक्रनीलमहास्थलीम्
Again, they go to the city of Śrī, to the great region of Indra's blue palace.
नीलैर्भावैः सदा युक्ता वर्तन्ते मनुजा मुने
Men, O sage, are always engaged with blue-hued dispositions there.
ते मुने विस्मयाविष्टाः संविशन्ति महेश्वरीम्
Those, O sage, filled with wonder, enter the great abode of the Great Goddess.
मुक्ताफलमयःशालः पूर्ववद्गोपुरान्वितः
A hall made of pearl, as before, adorned with gateways.
सर्वापि मुक्ताखचिताः शिशिरातिमनोहराः
All are studded with pearls, exceedingly delightful and cool.
एवमाद्या महानद्यः प्रवरन्ति महास्थले
Thus, the great rivers flow forth on the great plain.
वसंति पूर्वजनुषि श्रीदेवीमन्त्रसाधकाः
In their previous birth, the practitioners of Śrī Devī's mantra reside there.
मुक्ताशालस्य परितः संयुज्य द्वारदेशकान्
Around the pearl hall, the regions of the gates are joined.
पूर्वभागे शक्रलोकस्तत्कोणे वह्निलोकभूः
In the eastern part is the world of Indra; in that corner, the realm of Fire.
सर्वत्र ललितामन्त्रजापी तीव्रस्वभाववान्
Everywhere, one who chants the Lalitā mantra, possessing intense nature,
सार्धं नियमयत्येव श्रीदेवीसमयं गुहः
Together, Guha indeed enforces the sacred law of Śrī Devī.
कूडभक्तिपरान्मूर्खांस्तब्धानत्यन्तदर्पितान्
Those who are devoted to false devotion, ignorant, arrogant, and excessively proud,
नास्तिकान्पापशीलांश्च वृथैव प्राणिहिंसकान्
Atheists, those of sinful conduct, and those who kill living beings in vain,
कालसूत्रे रौरवे च कुम्भीपाके च कुम्भज
In Kālasūtra, Raurava, and Kumbhīpāka, O Kumbhaja,
लालाक्षेपे सूचिवेधे तथैवाङ्गारपातने
In the punishment of saliva-casting, needle-piercing, and likewise burning with coals,
पातयत्याज्ञया तस्याः श्रीदेव्याः स महौजसः
By the command of that Śrī Devī, the one of great energy casts them down.
राक्षसं लोकमाश्रित्य वर्तते ललितार्चकः
Resorting to the world of demons, the worshipper of Lalitā dwells.
