अतितुङ्गो हीरशालस्तयोर्मध्ये च हीरभूः
In the midst of them stands a very tall hall of diamonds, and the ground is also of diamonds.
वसन्त्यप्सरसां वृन्दैः साकं गन्धर्वपुङ्गवाः
There dwell the foremost of Gandharvas together with groups of Apsarases.
सुकुमारप्रकृतयः श्रीदेवीभक्तिशालिनः
They are gentle by nature and devoted to the worship of the blessed Goddess.
कालसङ्कर्षणीमंबां सेवन्ते तत्र भक्तितः
There, with devotion, they serve Mother Kālasaṅkarṣaṇī.
उर्वशी मेनका चैव रम्भा चालंबुषा तथा
Urvaśī, Menakā, Rambhā, and also Alaṃbuṣā are there.
कृतस्थला च विश्वाची पुञ्जिकस्थलया सह
Kṛtasthalā and Viśvācī, together with Puñjikasthalā, are present.
गन्धर्वैः सह नव्यानि कल्पवृक्षम धूनि च
Along with the Gandharvas, they tend the new shoots of the wish-fulfilling trees.
स्वसौभाग्यविवृद्ध्यर्थं गुणयन्त्यश्च तन्मनुम्
For the increase of their own good fortune, they recite that mantra, praising its qualities.
तत्रैव देवीमर्चन्त्यो वसंति मुदिताशयाः
There itself, joyfully minded, they reside, worshipping the Goddess.
कीर्तय त्वं महाप्राज्ञ सर्वविद्यामहानिधे
O greatly wise one, treasure-house of all knowledge, you should proclaim her glory.
तपनस्य कराश्चन्द्रकरो वेदाश्च पावकः
The rays of the sun, the moonbeam, the Vedas, and fire—
जन्मनः कारणान्येतान्या मनन्ति मनीषिणः
These are considered by the wise to be the causes of birth.
एताः समस्ता गन्धर्वैः सार्धमर्चन्ति चक्रिणीम्
All these, together with the Gandharvas, worship the wielder of the discus.
स्त्रीभिः सह मदोन्मत्ता हीरकस्थलमाश्रिताः
Intoxicated, together with women, they dwell upon the diamond terrace.
नृत्यन्तश्चैव गायन्तो वर्तन्ते कुंभसंभव
They dance and sing, dwelling in the place born of the pot.
वज्रकारैर्निबिडिता भासमाना तटद्रुमैः
It is enclosed by makers of thunderbolts, shining with trees along its banks.
सदा वहति सा सिंधुः परितस्तत्र पावनी
That sacred river always flows around there.
दीर्घायुषश्च नीरोगा भवन्ति कलशोद्भव
Those born from the vessel become long-lived and free from disease.
तरयास्तीरे तपस्तेपे वज्रेशीं प्रति भक्तिमान्
On the shore of the river, a devoted one performed austerities for Vajreśī.
पुनरन्तर्दधेसो ऽपि कृतार्थःस्वर्गमेयिवान्
Having fulfilled his purpose, he disappeared again and went to heaven.
स्थाली च तत्र वैदृर्यनिर्मिता भास्वराकृतिः
There is also a shining vessel made of beryl, radiant in form.
ते सिद्धमूर्तयस्तत्र वसन्ति सुखमेदुराः
There, perfected beings dwell, enjoying happiness in abundance.
तक्षकः शङ्खचूडश्च महादन्तो महाफणः
Takṣaka and Śaṅkhacūḍa, great-toothed and great-hooded, are there.
गणस्तत्र तथा नागैः सार्धं वसति सांगनाः
The group, along with the nāgas and their companions, resides there.
ललितापूजका नित्यं वसन्त्यसुरभोगिनः
Those who worship Lalitā always live there, enjoying divine pleasures.
सरांसिविमलांभांसि सारसालङ्कृतानि च
The lakes are pure and shining, adorned with swans.
तेषु क्रीडन्ति ते नागा असुराश्च सहाङ्गनाः
In those, the nāgas and asuras play together with their companions.
इन्द्रनीलमयः शालश्चक्रवाल इवापरः
There is a hall made of sapphire, like another celestial dome.
नानाविधानि भोग्यानि वस्तूनि सरसान्यपि
There are various enjoyments, objects, and lakes of every kind.
ते देहान्ते शक्रनीलकक्ष्यां प्राप्य वसंति वै
At the end of their bodies, they attain the sapphire realm of Indra and dwell there.
