राका च धिषणा चैव पत्न्यश् चान्या दिवौकसाम् हिमवांश् चैव विन्ध्यश् च मेरुश् चानेकशृङ्गवान्
Rākā, Dhiṣaṇā, and other wives of the gods, Himavat, Vindhya, and Meru with many peaks—
ऐरावतः सानुचरः कलाकाष्ठास् तथैव च मासार्धं मास-ऋतवस् तथा रात्र्यहनी समाः
Airāvata with his retinue, the divisions of time such as kalās and kāṣṭhās, the half-months, months, seasons, nights and days, and years—
उच्चैःश्रवा हयश्रेष्ठो नागराजश् च वामनः अरुणो गरुडश् चैव वृक्षाश् चौषधिभिः सह
Uccaiḥśravā, the best of horses, the serpent king Vāmana, Aruṇa, Garuḍa, and the trees together with the herbs—
धर्मश् च भगवान् देवः समाजग्मुर् हि संगताः कालो यमश् च मृत्युश् च यमस्यानुचराश् च ये
Dharma, the blessed god, also arrived, gathered together; Kāla, Yama, Mṛtyu, and the attendants of Yama as well—
बहुलत्वाच् च नोक्ता ये विविधा देवतागणाः ते देवस्याभिषेकार्थं समायान्ति ततस् ततः
And the many various hosts of deities not mentioned due to their multitude, they too come one after another for the consecration of the god—
गृहीत्वा ते तदा विप्राः सर्वे देवा दिवौकसः आभिषेचनिकं द्रव्यं मङ्गलानि च सर्वशः
Then all the gods, the dwellers in heaven, together with the sages, took the consecration substances and all the auspicious items—
दिव्यसंभारसंयुक्तैः कलशैः काञ्चनैर् द्विजाः सारस्वतीभिः पुण्याभिर् दिव्यतोयाभिर् एव च
With golden pitchers filled with divine ingredients, with sacred Sarasvatī waters and holy celestial waters—
तोयेनाकाशगङ्गायाः कृष्णं रामेण संगतम् सपुष्पैः काञ्चनैः कुम्भैः स्नापयन्त्य् अवनिस्थिताः
With water from the celestial Gaṅgā, joined by Kṛṣṇa and Rāma, with flowers and golden pots, those on earth bathe him—
संचरन्ति विमानानि देवानाम् अम्बरे तथा उच्चावचानि दिव्यानि कामगानि स्थिराणि च
Celestial chariots of the gods move in the sky, some high, some low, divine, wish-fulfilling, and steady—
दिव्यरत्नविचित्राणि सेवितान्य् अप्सरोगणैः गीतैर् वाद्यैः पताकाभिः शोभितानि समन्ततः
Adorned with celestial jewels, attended by hosts of apsarases, resounding with songs, instruments, and banners, shining on all sides—
एवं तदा मुनिश्रेष्ठाः कृष्णं रामेण संगतम् स्नापयित्वा सुभद्रां च संस्तुवन्ति मुदान्विताः
Thus, O best of sages, having bathed Kṛṣṇa together with Rāma and Subhadrā, they praise them, filled with joy—
जय कृष्ण जगन्नाथ जय संकर्षणानुज जय पद्मपलाशाक्ष जय वाञ्छाफलप्रद
Victory to you, Kṛṣṇa, Lord of the universe! Victory to you, younger brother of Saṃkarṣaṇa! Victory to you, lotus-eyed one! Victory to you, bestower of all desires!
जय मालावृतोरस्क जय चक्रगदाधर जय पद्मालयाकान्त जय विष्णो नमो ऽस्तु ते
Victory to you, whose chest is adorned with garlands! Victory to you, bearer of the discus and mace! Victory to you, beloved of Padmā! Victory to you, Viṣṇu! Salutations to you!
एवं स्तुत्वा तदा देवाः शक्राद्या हृष्टमानसाः सिद्धचारणसंघाश् च ये चान्ये स्वर्गवासिनः
Thus praised, the gods led by Śakra, with delighted minds, and the hosts of Siddhas and Cāraṇas, and all other dwellers of heaven—
मुनयो वालखिल्याश् च कृष्णं रामेण संगतम् सुभद्रां च मुनिश्रेष्ठाः प्रणिपत्याम्बरे स्थिताः
The sages, including the Vālakhilyas, seeing Kṛṣṇa together with Rāma and Subhadrā, bowed down to them, O best of sages, standing in the sky.
दृष्ट्वा स्तुत्वा नमस्कृत्वा तदा ते त्रिदिवौकसः कृष्णं रामं सुभद्रां च यान्ति स्वं स्वं निवेशनम्
Having seen, praised, and offered obeisance, those dwellers of heaven then departed to their own abodes—Kṛṣṇa, Rāma, and Subhadrā having been honored.
संचरन्ति विमानानि देवानाम् अम्बरे तदा उच्चावचानि दिव्यानि कामगानि स्थिराणि च
At that time, the celestial chariots of the gods moved through the sky—some high, some low, all divine, wish-fulfilling, and steady.
दिव्यरत्नविचित्राणि सेवितान्य् अप्सरोगणैः गीतैर् वाद्यैः पताकाभिः शोभितानि समन्ततः
Adorned with various divine jewels, attended by groups of apsarases, resounding with songs and instruments, and decorated all around with banners, they shone brilliantly.
तस्मिन् काले तु ये मर्त्याः पश्यन्ति पुरुषोत्तमम् बलभद्रं सुभद्रां च ते यान्ति पदम् अव्ययम्
At that time, those mortals who behold the Supreme Person—Balabhadra and Subhadrā as well—attain the imperishable state.
सुभद्रारामसहितं मञ्चस्थं पुरुषोत्तमम् दृष्ट्वा निरामयं स्थानं यान्ति नास्त्य् अत्र संशयः
Seeing the Supreme Person, together with Subhadrā and Rāma, seated on the platform, one attains a place free from affliction—there is no doubt about this.
कपिलाशतदानेन यत् फलं पुष्करे स्मृतम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं सहलायुधम् सुभद्रां च मुनिश्रेष्ठाः प्राप्नोति शुभकृन् नरः
The merit said to be gained at Puṣkara by giving a hundred tawny cows—that same merit, O best of sages, a virtuous person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa, armed and seated on the platform, together with Subhadrā.
कन्याशतप्रदानेन यत् फलं समुदाहृतम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit declared to arise from giving a hundred maidens—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
सुवर्णशतनिष्काणां दानेन यत् फलं स्मृतम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit remembered as arising from giving a hundred gold niṣkas—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
गोसहस्रप्रदानेन यत् फलं परिकीर्तितम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit proclaimed from giving a thousand cows—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
भूमिदानेन विधिवद् यत् फलं समुदाहृतम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit declared to arise from properly giving land—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
यत् फलं चान्नदानेन अर्घातिथ्येन कीर्तितम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit praised as arising from giving food and honoring guests—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
वृषोत्सर्गेण विधिवद् यत् फलं समुदाहृतम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit declared to arise from the proper release of a bull—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
यत् फलं तोयदानेन ग्रीष्मे वान्यत्र कीर्तितम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit praised as arising from giving water in the summer or elsewhere—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
तिलधेनुप्रदानेन यत् फलं संप्रकीर्तितम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit proclaimed from giving a sesame cow—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
गजाश्वरथदानेन यत् फलं समुदाहृतम् तत् फलं कृष्णम् आलोक्य मञ्चस्थं लभते नरः
The merit declared to arise from giving elephants, horses, or chariots—that merit a person obtains by beholding Kṛṣṇa seated on the platform.
