सहस्राक्ष विरूपाक्ष त्र्यक्ष यक्षाधिपप्रिय सर्वतःपाणिपादस् त्वं सर्वतोक्षिशिरोमुखः
Thousand-eyed, deformed-eyed, three-eyed, beloved of the lord of Yakṣas, you have hands and feet everywhere, faces, eyes, heads, and mouths on all sides.
सर्वतःश्रुतिमांल् लोके सर्वम् आवृत्य तिष्ठसि शङ्कुकर्णो महाकर्णः कुम्भकर्णो ऽर्णवालयः
You hear from all sides in the world; you stand pervading everything. With conch-shaped ears, great ears, pot-like ears, you are encircled by the ocean.
गजेन्द्रकर्णो गोकर्णः शतकर्णो नमो ऽस्तु ते शतोदरः शतावर्तः शतजिह्वः सनातनः
With elephant ears, cow ears, a hundred ears—salutations to you! With a hundred bellies, a hundred whirlpools, a hundred tongues, you are eternal.
गायन्ति त्वां गायत्रिणो अर्चयन्त्य् अर्कम् अर्किणः देवदानवगोप्ता च ब्रह्मा च त्वं शतक्रतुः
The singers of the Gāyatrī hymn praise you; the worshippers of the sun honor you. You are the protector of gods and demons, you are Brahmā, you are Śatakratu (Indra).
मूर्तिमांस् त्वं महामूर्तिः समुद्रः सरसां निधिः त्वयि सर्वा देवता हि गावो गोष्ठ इवासते
You are the embodied, the great form, the ocean, the repository of waters; in you, indeed, all the deities dwell, as cows in a cowshed.
त्वत्तः शरीरे पश्यामि सोमम् अग्निजलेश्वरम् आदित्यम् अथ विष्णुं च ब्रह्माणं सबृहस्पतिम्
From you, in your body, I perceive Soma, Agni, the lord of waters, Aditya, Vishnu, Brahma, and Brihaspati.
क्रिया करणकार्ये च कर्ता कारणम् एव च असच् च सदसच् चैव तथैव प्रभवाव्ययौ
In action, instrument, and result, you are the doer and the cause; you are both the existent and the non-existent, as well as origin and imperishability.
नमो भवाय शर्वाय रुद्राय वरदाय च पशूनां पतये चैव नमो ऽस्त्व् अन्धकघातिने
Salutations to Bhava, Sharva, Rudra, the giver of boons, and the lord of creatures; salutations also to the destroyer of Andhaka.
त्रिजटाय त्रिशीर्षाय त्रिशूलवरधारिणे त्र्यम्बकाय त्रिनेत्राय त्रिपुरघ्नाय वै नमः
Salutations to the three-plaited, three-headed, bearer of the excellent trident, to Tryambaka, the three-eyed, and the destroyer of Tripura.
नमश् चण्डाय मुण्डाय विश्वचण्डधराय च दण्डिने शङ्कुकर्णाय दण्डिदण्डाय वै नमः
Salutations to the fierce one, the shaven-headed, the bearer of universal fierceness, to the staff-holder, the one with conch-shaped ears, and the wielder of the staff.
नमो ऽर्धदण्डिकेशाय शुष्काय विकृताय च विलोहिताय धूम्राय नीलग्रीवाय वै नमः
Salutations to the half-staff-haired, the dried-up, the deformed, the blood-red, the smoky, and the blue-necked.
नमो ऽस्त्व् अप्रतिरूपाय विरूपाय शिवाय च सूर्याय सूर्यपतये सूर्यध्वजपताकिने
Salutations to the unmatched, the deformed, the auspicious, to the sun, the lord of the sun, and the bearer of the sun-banner.
नमः प्रमथनाशाय वृषस्कन्धाय वै नमः नमो हिरण्यगर्भाय हिरण्यकवचाय च
Salutations to the destroyer of the hosts, to the one with the bull's shoulder; salutations to Hiranyagarbha and to the one with the golden armor.
हिरण्यकृतचूडाय हिरण्यपतये नमः शत्रुघाताय चण्डाय पर्णसंघशयाय च
Salutations to the one with the golden crest, the lord of gold, the slayer of enemies, the fierce one, and the one who rests among leaves.
नमः स्तुताय स्तुतये स्तूयमानाय वै नमः सर्वाय सर्वभक्षाय सर्वभूतान्तरात्मने
Salutations to the praised, the praiseworthy, the one being praised; salutations to the all, the all-consuming, and the inner self of all beings.
नमो होमाय मन्त्राय शुक्लध्वजपताकिने नमो ऽनम्याय नम्याय नमः किलकिलाय च
Salutations to the sacrificial fire, the mantra, the bearer of the white-banner; salutations to the unbowed, the bowed, and to the one who makes loud sounds.
नमस् त्वां शयमानाय शयितायोत्थिताय च स्थिताय धावमानाय कुब्जाय कुटिलाय च
Salutations to you who lie down, who are lying, who rise, who stand, who run, who are hunchbacked, and who are crooked.
नमो नर्तनशीलाय मुखवादित्रकारिणे बाधापहाय लुब्धाय गीतवादित्रकारिणे
Salutations to the one skilled in dance, the maker of mouth-instruments, the remover of obstacles, the greedy, and the maker of song and instruments.
नमो ज्येष्ठाय श्रेष्ठाय बलप्रमथनाय च उग्राय च नमो नित्यं नमश् च दशबाहवे
Salutations to the eldest, the best, the destroyer of strength, the fierce; salutations always, and salutations to the ten-armed.
नमः कपालहस्ताय सितभस्मप्रियाय च विभीषणाय भीमाय भीष्मव्रतधराय च
Salutations to the one with the skull in hand, the lover of white ashes, the terrifying, the formidable, and the one who observes the terrible vow.
नानाविकृतवक्त्राय खड्गजिह्वोग्रदंष्ट्रिणे पक्षमासलवार्धाय तुम्बीवीणाप्रियाय च
Salutations to the one with various deformed faces, with sword-tongue and fierce fangs, whose nourishment is fortnight and month, and who delights in the lute and vina.
अघोरघोररूपाय घोराघोरतराय च नमः शिवाय शान्ताय नमः शान्ततमाय च
Salutations to the one of terrible and non-terrible forms, more terrible than the terrible; salutations to Shiva, the peaceful, and the most peaceful.
नमो बुद्धाय शुद्धाय संविभागप्रियाय च पवनाय पतंगाय नमः सांख्यपराय च
Salutations to the awakened one, the pure one, the lover of sharing, to the wind, to the flying one, and to the one devoted to Sāṃkhya.
नमश् चण्डैकघण्टाय घण्टाजल्पाय घण्टिने सहस्रशतघण्टाय घण्टामालाप्रियाय च
Salutations to the one with a fierce single bell, to the bell-sounder, to the bell-bearer, to the one with a hundred thousand bells, and to the lover of garlands of bells.
प्राणदण्डाय नित्याय नमस् ते लोहिताय च हूंहूंकाराय रुद्राय भगाकारप्रियाय च
Salutations to the staff of life, to the eternal one, and to you, the red one; to the one who utters 'hūṃ hūṃ', to Rudra, and to the lover of the form of Bhaga.
नमो ऽपारवते नित्यं गिरिवृक्षप्रियाय च नमो यज्ञाधिपतये भूताय प्रसुताय च
Salutations always to the one beyond the mountain, to the lover of mountain trees; salutations to the lord of sacrifice, to the being, and to the progenitor.
यज्ञवाहाय दान्ताय तप्याय च भगाय च नमस् तटाय तट्याय तटिनीपतये नमः
Salutations to the bearer of sacrifice, to the restrained one, to the ascetic, and to Bhaga; salutations to the bank, to the bank-dweller, and to the lord of rivers.
अन्नदायान्नपतये नमस् त्व् अन्नभुजाय च नमः सहस्रशीर्षाय सहस्रचरणाय च
Salutations to the giver of food, to the lord of food, and to the eater of food; salutations to the thousand-headed one and the thousand-footed one.
सहस्रोद्धतशूलाय सहस्रनयनाय च नमो बालार्कवर्णाय बालरूपधराय च
Salutations to the one with a thousand-raised spears and a thousand eyes; salutations to the one of the color of the rising sun and to the bearer of a youthful form.
नमो बालार्करूपाय बालक्रीडनकाय च नमः शुद्धाय बुद्धाय क्षोभणाय क्षयाय च
Salutations to the one with the form of the rising sun, to the child at play; salutations to the pure one, the awakened one, the agitator, and the destroyer.
