सर्वसिद्धिकरा देवी प्रसादपरमास्पदा
The goddess who grants all accomplishments, the supreme abode of grace.
स्निग्धश्यामेन वर्णेन महामहिषमर्दनी
With a smooth dark complexion, the great slayer of the buffalo demon.
आतर्जन्यायतकरा सर्वोपद्रवनाशिनी
With hands raised in threat, she destroys all calamities.
अतिसूक्ष्मो ह्यतिक्रोधस्त्र्यक्षो भृंगिरिटिर्महान् सूर्यभक्तिकरो नित्यं शिवं ते संप्रयच्छतु
Extremely subtle, exceedingly wrathful, three-eyed, great as a swarm of bees, ever devoted to the Sun, may he always grant you auspiciousness.
प्रचंडगणसैन्येशो महाघंटाक्षधारकः
The fierce lord of the army of hosts, bearer of the great bell-eyed form.
चंडपापहरो नित्यं ब्रह्महत्या विनाशनः करोति च महायोगी कल्याणानां परंपराम्
The fierce remover of sins, ever destroying the sin of killing a Brahmin, the great yogi brings forth a lineage of auspiciousness.
आकाशमातरो दिव्यास्तथान्या देवमातरः शांतिं कुर्वंतु मे नित्यं मातरः सुरपूजिताः
May the divine mothers of the sky, and the other mothers of the gods, always grant me peace—mothers who are worshipped by the gods.
ये रुद्रा रौद्रकर्माणो रौद्र स्थाननिवासिनः
Those Rudras, performers of fierce deeds, who dwell in terrifying abodes—
विघ्नभूतास्तथा चान्ये दिग्विदिक्षु समाश्रिताः सिद्धिं कुर्वंतु ते नित्यं भयेभ्यः पांतु सर्वतः
And those others who are obstacles, who have taken refuge in every direction—may they always grant success, and protect from all fears everywhere.
ऐंद्रादयो गणा ये तु वज्रहस्ता महाबलाः 1.178.
Those hosts beginning with Indra, who are mighty and bear the thunderbolt—
दिव्यांतरिक्षा भौमाश्च पातालतलवासिनः
Those who dwell in the heavens, in the atmosphere, on earth, and in the depths of the underworld—
आग्नेय्यां ये भृताः सर्वे ध्रुवहत्यानुषंगिणः
All those who are established in the southeastern quarter, who are associated with the act of slaying Dhruva—
विरक्तलोहिता दिव्या आग्नेय्यां भास्करादयः
The radiant, red-hued divinities in the southeast, beginning with Bhāskara (the Sun)—
शांतिं कुर्वंतु ते नित्यं प्रयच्छंतु बलिं मम आदित्याराधनपराः कं प्रयच्छंतु ते सदा
May they always grant peace, and accept my offering; those devoted to worshipping the Ādityas, may they always grant what is given.
ऐशान्यां संस्थिता ये तु प्रशांताः शूलपाणयः
Those who are established in the northeast, tranquil and bearing tridents—
दिव्यांतरिक्षा भौमाश्च पातालतलवासिनः
Those who dwell in the heavens, in the atmosphere, on earth, and in the depths of the underworld—
ततः सुप्रीतमनसो लोकपालैः सम न्विताः
Then, with minds well pleased, accompanied by the guardians of the worlds—
अमरावती पुरी नाम पूर्वभागे व्यवस्थिता
There is a city named Amarāvatī, situated in the eastern quarter—
रत्नप्राकाररुचिरा महारत्नोपशोभिता गोपतिर्गोसहस्रेण शोभमानेन शोभते
Beautiful with walls of jewels, adorned with great gems, it shines, and the lord of cows, with a thousand cows, brings it splendor.
ऐरावतगजारूढो गैरिकाभो महाद्युतिः 1.178.
Mounted on the elephant Airāvata, resembling red ochre, of great brilliance—
सूर्यज्ञानैकपरमः सूर्यभक्तिसमन्वितः
Supremely devoted to knowledge of the Sun, endowed with devotion to the Sun—
आग्नेयदिग्विभागे तु पुरी तेजस्वती शुभा
In the southeastern direction stands a city, radiant and auspicious—
तत्र ज्वाला समाकीर्णो दीप्तांगारसमद्युतिः
There, surrounded by flames, with the brilliance of glowing embers—
आदित्याराधनरत आदित्यगतमानसः
Engaged in the worship of the Ādityas, with mind absorbed in the Ādityas—
वैवस्वती पुरी रम्या दक्षिणेन महात्मनः
The delightful city of Vaivasvati lies to the south of the great soul.
तत्र कुन्देंदुसंकाशो हरिपिंगललोचनः
There, one shines like a white lotus, with eyes tawny like a lion.
अन्तकोऽथ महातेजाः सूर्यधर्मपरायणः
Antaka, possessed of great brilliance, devoted to the dharma of the sun, is there.
नैर्ऋते दिग्विभागे तु पुरी कृष्णेति विश्रुता
In the region of the southwest, the city called Krishna is renowned.
तत्र कुन्दनिभो देवो रक्तस्रग्वस्त्र भूषणः
There, the god resembling a lotus, adorned with red garlands, garments, and ornaments, resides.
रक्षेंद्रो वसते नित्यमादित्याराधने रतः 1.178.
Rakshendra dwells there always, engaged in the worship of Aditya.
